Ahh ok so very unlikely we'd get an increased allocation then. Taking over 6000 to West Ham would be decent mind, or any semi decent away tie really where we can go en masse
-
Ideally a s**** side at home so we can get through but the level headed part of me says we're not going to win it anyway so I wouldnt mind a trip to the Olympic Stadium so West Ham would be good. Is there the rule in the league cup with allocations? Like you get more than standard away league games? Was thinking if we were to get Sunderland away and could take 5000 odd it could be quite the occasion

Few photos and videos popping up showing the dickhead young kids out in full force again tonight, trying to intimidate the Wolves fans at full time. Sometimes makes me wish theyd put the prices up for these games to stop the homework skipping pricks from coming and embarrasing themselves and everyone around them

"DM is right about the mags though. Matchday in Newcastle is horrendous. Blokes in full kit, or with horrendous printing on the back of a 12 year old tatty home top. Our match going support is quite tidy and well dressed if you look around. You'd never see a bigger set of scruffy bastards anywhere than you would in Newcastle on a matchday. A good chunk of them are repulsive tbh." Just looking through a 10 odd page thread about us, one of the many, which is full of blatantly made up lies as usual, and came acoss that gem above. Ive been going to games for a long long time and dont think ive ever seen a grown bloke in a full kit like, these have seen about 10 in one day, why make this shit up man? Oh and now to add to the classiness they are now better dressed than us apparently. So funny man, cant help but look on their forum to see which lie is next

How are any of us supposed to know that? I think he drove past last year on his way up to the town moor for some candy floss. Well i obviously didnt mean it as literal as that. Poor wording perhaps but i meant more in the sense of a semi official engagement with the club - feels weird seeing him involved like that, good weird obviously but yeah. Cheers for that though, was the candy floss for himself?

Didnt realise how warm it was today man fucking hell, on the train down now between stevenage and london and im actually sweating. Horrible. Tube in half hour is going to be fun. -
Quite surreal seeing Keegan, Shearer and Shepherd outside SJP like after everything that has gone on. Love it. Is this the first time Keegan has been back that close to the stadium since the whole court debacle?

Whats the pub for this one now? Used to always be O'neills and Walkabout but Oneills doesnt let us in anymore and Walkabout has closed. Should be a good trip, cant see us losing, smart money would be on a draw but if we score first we'll win -
Its shaping up a lot like last time. We never really looked amazing at any points, the games were usually pretty dull and the quality of.football terrible, but we picked up the points when we needed too. Its a means to an end for now, when we go up though id hope our style changes a bit, but winning for now is the most important thing of course

Aye remember that game well, was there and people were going absolutey mental. Dont condone it but a few of our lot were so incencsed there was seats being ripped out in the away section. Unbelievable day

Remy, Wilshere and Benteke are cracking signings for a side like Palace like. Deffo enough there to ensure Pardew survives another season, might even have some moderate success, Townsend, Zaha, Benteke, Remy and Wilshere are a top front end like

I think that performance from Brighton today, a team regarded as one of the best in the Championship, sums up what this league is. People say the Championship is one of the most difficult leagues, and gemerally theyre right, but not because of teams being any good. Its basically a load of bang average sides battling against each other so it means it will always be competitive. All you need in this league is that bit of extra quality, premier league experience, thats why the likes.of Hull, Burnley and Norwich always yo yo because the quality they have is alwaye a step above the league in general but then they dont have enough money to compete once they get up; and thats where we should be different, as with those sides, we have that extra bit of quality that you need, so we should get up, and we also should have enough money to compete. Time will tell, but one thing for sure is that this league is just as shit as the last.time we were down here

Sure i read somewhere that from next season the PL are trying to make all teams house away fans in the lower tier close to the pitch. Cant remember where i saw it now. Guess we'd stick them in the lower leazes, would only really affect us if we go up, Sunderland, Man City and West Ham but i think its a good idea
-
This fucking stadium man. Even the frnt row are miles away. Its not built for football and looks shit
-
What an atmosphere
-
Mackems actualy look ok - just no end product. Janazuj is gonna be a good signing if he keeps playing like this and picks a ball out.
-
Our fans celebrating in the home end is always going to cause trouble - cant blame Bristol City fans being pissed off at that. If you cant control yourself then dont go in the home end. In the past before my ST i knew I couldnt so i never went in the home end. Idiots. After the game looked to be a little hairy mind, no idea who started it either but our lot wouldnt have been blameless. Big result this though, got a feeling we're going to win a lot of away games like that this season -.tight game, nick a goal and very scrappy.
-
Must be waiting till all the games tonight end then
-
Just went online to buy my ticket for Derby and was in a queue for a bit - first thought was that it's probably half of this fucking forum causing it by checking if this games a sellout yet

Wor Flags: visit worflags.org.uk/donate to support future displays
NUFCDoog replied to wor jackie's topic in Football
Thats gonna be the annoying thing - if youve got a couple of mardy bstards next to you its gonna be awkward laying the flag under your seat or whatever as its going to encroach onto their space. No biggie obviously but its gonna be a bit awkward. Looking forward to the display all the same, will hopefully be nice and loud as well. -
Think the thing im most looking forward to about this game is that itll finally mean everyone focses on the next game and shuts the fuck up abut this being a sellout and all the ticket sale bollocks about this game. Fuck me man, i love a decent attendance as much as the next person but with the Fulham game and this, people are obsessed to the point of concerning man. Bristol City, Reading and Brighton after this have gone to members for christ sake, its jjsy early season optomism like what always happens, get a grip
-
I know its only one game - what i mean is i want to see us playing good exciting football really soon, i know we'll be fine i just dont want to wait any longer because this weekend has wet the appetitie. I know we will, just want it sooner than later thats all
-
Villa are gonna win this like. Look decent going forward. I hope we sort ourselves out because seeing the likes of Norwich and Villla playing some good football and giving excitement to their fans aint half making me jealous. I know its only one game but Friday left such a bitter taste

Thought it was quite funny myself, he's only having a laugh like - does stuff like this all the time, remembered him having a little joke with the BBC around a similar issue last year. On topic of that though....cant see that BT show gettin many viewers, Soccer Saturday is part of the Saturday routine now when not at the match like and its a ritual for armchair fans, not as good as it used to be but would feel crazy watching another channel copy it. Only way itll work is if they can ahow the goals as theyve gone in but witj the prem rights i doubt that can happen
