Doesn't sound like he's on the verge of quitting from that then. When the time is right and on his terms suggests like many have said he'll see out the season. Or at worst when a team comes in for him over the next few months. All the murmurings aren't suggesting he's going to quit.

Think West Ham are being underestimated like - aye they've lost their first 2 but they've both been away - Man Utd is pretty much a free pass and they lost to Sothampton because of a last minute pen. Problem is, our support has changed so much over the last few years because of shit like this that I geneuinely think it'll hardly impact the attendance. You'll still get the happy clappers and melts that believed Ashley was genuine in his sky interview and al that bollocks. I was in the Strawberry before the Spurs game and some bloke spoke to me in there saying how we can't blame Ashley, and that the only person Rafa has to blame is himself "he signed shit players that he can't sell and that's why he's unhappy" was what he said, I could have lamped him - you can't argue with people like that, and I fear a lot of the match going support these days will feel the same.

Aye 6 million is nothing for a club to pay these days, if West Ham want him they'll have no trouble paying it. I'd imagine even if he doesn't have something lined up the compensation wouldn't be too much of an issue, even if he pays it he'll make it in his next job within no time

To be fair 5 points from the games they've had isn't too bad, especially when you consider where we thought they'd be. To get 4 points from Wednesday and Norwich away is decent (from the same games last season we got 1 point) so it's an ok start. Hopefully today knocks the confidence they were building up like and they plummet now

Only so many times we can tell ourselves the opposition are so shit that's why they're getting results. They looked decent against Derby and good today by all accounts. Hopefully an early season flourish before the rot sets in but this leagues shite so they might be alright
