Fair play - that's good news then if it ends up like that! Should mean a cracking allocation that we get then, be a special away day that
-
Pretty sure I heard they're not allowed to open it to 90000 for all games like due to Wembley only being able to host a certain amount of full events per year, safety and police grounds and all that Think it said they can open it to full capacity for 1 or 2 big game so probably Chelsea and Arsenal but the rest will be around 60000 so we'll probably get the standard 3000 allocation
-
Tell you what they do make these bloody new designs tighter ? I'm a large for every other type of shirt, including retro and they all fit absolutely fine, large of this fucker is ridiculously tight! Problem is it's not tight enough that an XLwould fit well, seems I'm in the middle asXL would bury me! Gonna be a couple months and a strict diet before I can wear it!
-
Wouldn't surprise me if they've done millions of stripes to try and "beat" us again "Mags home shirt has a few more stripes this season" "Right, we'll show them, let's have loads of really thin stripes!" "Yeah, also they're not having that patch on the back this year" "Ok, lets have a patch as well then, that'll really show em, losers!" Looks horrendous like, as said earlier I reckon it'll look even worse on tv

Used to have my season ticket in block S but moved it closer as the view isn't as great up there, can't see half of the actual stadium which ruins it a bit so a little disappointed if that's where the singing section is going to be like - would have preferred strawberry corner and gallowgate lower tier. Still any effort to get a decent atmosphere should be applauded and you'd hope the noise would filter down
-
Has there been any indication of the allocation away fans will get at Wembley? 90000 capacity but I imagine the full stadium may not be open as can't see Spurs getting 90000 every week, but you'd hope the allocation would be at least 5000 which would be decent
-
Lots of them talking about how they will be ''everyone's cup final next season'' - I really don't see it myself. Speak to any neutral these days and they're all sick of Sunderland stinking up the Prem for so long and there's general apathy in regards to them. Don't think they're quite the big fish they seem to think they are in that league, hell there's at least 5 teams in that league that are bigger clubs than them alone, I really don't why they're thinking

Monk has massively overachieved with the squad Leeds have like. Be a big mistake to sack him I reckon
-
Just being realistic man Problem is, we've/I've let my guard down so many times over the years and ended up hurt because it's just the way this club is. If we won the league I'd be half expecting us to get it took off us for match fixing a week later so would be hesitant to celebrate ? Feels weird being happy when supporting NUFC so always expect a dissster round the corner

In fairness he's not one to come out and give a definite answer. Like last year he left it open as to whether he'd stay on or not until the day he signed a new contract. Aye because he was waiting to see what guarantees etc he'd get from Ashley...the guarantee he did get was renegaed on in January so I doubt he'll be so trusting this time
-
He's gone. Ashley won't sanction the amount of spending needed/what Rafa will want for next season. Interview said it all, no guarantees, no showing of cards.

Newcastle United promoted back to the Premier League

Huddersfield lost to Bristol city and Burton a few weeks ago, there's no way they're winning their last 5 to overtake us. We're shite but we're going to limp over the line as Huddersfield aren't good enough -
Aye - the dumps are usualy where you have the best away days, give me a trip to Blackburn over Chelsea for example any day. Proper football
-
Be a cracking away day this like. Shame its Monday though as back to work Tuesday, going to be a killer after a full day on the booze for this. Blackburn have annpunced a fan zone outside the away end btw from 12.30-2.30 and they will be selling alcohol, so that should be alright. Hard to call this one like, think it'll be a poor game and finish a draw
-
Linekar asked if Pardew was unlucky and Wright responded by saying not at all with his record over the past year and he's lucky he had Parish backing him as long as he did
-
Ian Wright just chucked Pardew under the bus on MOTD like. Thought it myself, but looks like he was jst trolling the last few weeks like, knows Pards was shit

Mackems ability to beat similar teams around them at home is what will keep them up. It'll be Hull, Leicester and Watford that theyve beat at the SOL now. You dont need decent away form.to stay up, youd fancy them at home to sides like Swansea, Burnley, Bournemouth, West Ham etc, chuck in a couple.of flukey away wins they always get and theyll be fine Thank fuck tney havent got any money cuz Moyes would.make these decent if they did

last night at Wigan, f*** knows f*** off man, seriously? I think I've seen him before. Wasn't he the guy who sat in the Portsmouth end (think it was Portsmouth) when we played them and it was on TV? Sunderland were at home last night as well, what the f***? He wanted to know the Newcastle score but was worried he wouldn't get reception him if he was at the SOL. He mugged us right off like - at one point a few of our fans saw him and were shoutijg at him, then just bwfore the end of the match he chucked a pie and with pin point accuracy it managed to hit one of our fans in the face, pie went all down the fuckers shirt. Then after the game he had 10 of our lot rattled as he knocked them all out. Our fans were seething after

Not the most comitted of sound bites, that "at the moment" is a killler line like. With this club you worry all the time, but it really wouldnt suprise me if Rafa isnt here in a years time
-
Dunno like - its been on general sale fror the last couple of weeks so theres bound to be a few knobheads there, was at Barnsley as well.
-
The lights show was apparently planned to coincide with the same minute that the mackems lights went out in their last home game. Fucking weirdos like whoever decided that should be a thing
-
Aye, ive got my ticket for the away end but am considering that as itll be a decent present to my old man who doesnt get to many away games, and will mean he will be in a bit more comfort for the match
