Wednesday look hopeless going forward, Mackems don't look much better but are carrying more of a slight threat, think they'll win this
  2. Be 3 or 4-2 now, villareal look spent and it's just constant Liverpool pressure
  3. With the chanting over the silence thing, not to defend them too much but I know from experience sometimes when you have quite a lot of fans in the concourse making their way up, they start chanting and sometimes it's not always obvious to them that there's a silence. I know at our aways we have loads that only make their way up with seconds to spare and if youve just been going mental in the concourse you carry it over. Also with the ground being so quiet any sort of noise can easily be heard so it always sounds worse
  4. Could be a big score this, City have not turned up, feels like one of those Anfield European nights where you feel they'll just keep scoring
  5. Every single week man, unbeaten in 9 and heading into the play offs with some real momentum now annoyingly, think this will be the year they go up
  6. Athletic saying he's been sacked
  7. The lines made him look absolutely miles offside but I'm not having that like , no way was it that far off
  8. Could end up being a good thing in a weird way this result. Not that our owners are stupid but as above its a reality check as to the limitations of this squad, and it'll show them how far off we are and that we need big recruitment in the summer. As great as it was the longer Howe made these players look like world beaters and was picking up great results, the more it possible made the owners think we might not need as much of an overhaul in the summer as we do. Days like yesterday won't be happening to us much over the next few years, the good times are coming and the majority of this squad won't be a part of it.
  9. Mackems are doing the same this afternoon n all
  10. It's such an awkward one as to be honest it probably is fair as it is, but it's definitely created an elitist mentality in some of our fan base which isn't fair. Everyone who has kept going over the last 10 years etc should have priority. However, personally, I had a season ticket from 2009 to 2019, I accumulated 104 points, gave it in after Rafa left, got one back this season on a whim as after Covid wanted to reconnect with "the old life" as such, now sit on 7 points, so basically can't get anywhere now. It just doesn't sit right that because I didn't have a season ticket for one season, all those years of going everywhere, through some fucking grim times, now stands for absolutely nothing and someone who say only got a season ticket in 19/20 has more points than me and is classed as more loyal in the system. I knew what I was giving in when I jacked it in though, and obviously if you start giving people back their points how far back do you go? So I accept the system is "fair" now, but its a shame people like me are now locked out of away games despite going everywhere for the last 13 odd years. I'm not sure anything will change but I do like potentially keeping 10% of tickets back for a ballot for season ticket holders with zero/a few points, but again that won't sit well with everyone.
  11. Going to be even more interesting when we get to Wembley. Usually an allocation of 30k tickets and we're likely going to have 44k season ticket holders...be a lot of people missing out
  12. Same old story here like, atmosphere sounds awesome at the start, we atart playing, crowd realise we're still shite and the atmosphere dies
  13. Starts for West Ham tonight. What a joke man, great example "abuse a cat, still play with no repercussions". Sickening
  14. One of the worst cup draws ever that like Literally Kidderminster/West Ham is the only interesting tie
  15. Think people are back to where they were last season with Fulham like with the overrating of Watford, we're awful but make no mistake Watford are shite as well, we've got every chance of beating these.
  16. To be fair they have a point, as do other clubs about postponements because if this. We're just acting up because it's directed at us but if the tables were turned I'd be fuming with Southampton as well. The whole thing is a piss take, we've just taken advantage of the Premier leagues incompetence like loads of other clubs the last few weeks, doesn't make it right mind. Yeah it helps us but it's bullshit the amount of games being called off/attempting to be called off. Clubs are taking the piss and it isn't right.
  17. Don't think we'll play until the Cambridge FA Cup game now like
  18. Wilson and ASM out meant we'll probably get the Everton and Southampton games called off now so at least we should be rested up for Watford and Leeds
  19. That Palace team today for fuck sake - pretty much full strength and they tried to get it called off. Premier League have created a massive issue for themselves like, clubs trying to get games called off left right and centre because they have a couple out and don't fancy it so using Covid to get it off, it's a fucking joke. You got Leeds who just have a few of their best players out but still have enough players to field a side but get their games called off, you've got Everton faking injuries so they meet the quota to get games off, no coincidence you've got loads of managers crying about this Xmas schedule then suddenly getting these "injuries and covid cases". When it's back to normal in January you won't see half the postponement requests.
  20. Yeah exactly I think that's the thing, thr unfairness Is that some teams get a game called off whereas others have to play, not that you've got a few players out injured/covid so have to play some reserves, teams have 25 man squads for a reason, games shouldn't be getting called off for a few players being out
  21. Five players out of a 25 man squad is nothing like, I don't understand how clubs are crying and trying to get games called off when it's like that, there's been plenty of examples over the years of teams having 5 injuries and being able to field a side, it doesn't add up. Chelsea and there huge squad had 4 players out last week and tried to get thr game called off ffs
  22. Buzzing for it to be honest, feels like it'll be the last game for probably a couple of months that we can attend so going to make the most of it. Got to make an individual choice as to whether you go like so I respect that but for me I've managed my risk and won't be seeing anyone who isn't fully boosted at Christmas and don't give a fuck about myself so happy to take it, I'm at the stage now tbh where I'd rather catch it and get ill and take a chancs rather than just sit at home like a hermit for months on end and not do things I like doing, because that's hardly living. Appreciate not everyone feels like that.
  23. They played last night with basically a full strength 11 and normal subs bench, so unless they get any more cases then absolutely no reason at all why it should be called off.
  24. I hate this notion that just because you’re doing relatively well you can’t show any disapproval against your team at all. They haven’t won since September and we’re pretty shit against a terrible Leeds side, nothing wrong with showing some anger at that. Its like oh because it’s little old Brighton and they’re doing alright they should be invading the pitch and celebrating a nil nil with Leeds because of how far they’ve come or something, fuck that, it’s not fickle it’s just showing some displeasure when the team have been shit. They’ve not calling for the manager out or any ridiculous shit like that, just a bit of booing because they’re pissed off at the poor performances since September, that’s all, it’s bullshit
  25. Players all off at Sheffield Wednesday as there’s a medical emergency in the crowd - the fuck is going on like, seems to be happening once a week now, as well as players collapsing it’s weird, not crying conspiracy or anything but it’s mad how often stuffs going on at the minute
