Well this is as boring as expected. What an awful weekend for live football in the best league in the world.

Obsession with attendances. Especially us at the minute. Fucking hell - yes we re still getting 50 odd thousand, lets all pat ourselves on the back, but stop fucking going on about it every single day

What an odd decision to beam back the game where we"re going to have our biggest away following of the season. Hardly people being shut oit and the game in high demand, with that amount of tickets the majority of people who want to go are going. Make far more sense to beam back a game like Burton Albion, Brentford, Forest or Ipswich away where the allocations are quite to very small and people who want to go will actually be unable to get a ticket. Weird

Forest is a relatively small allocation these days so its decent theyve put that on TV. Wigan away is inspire as well, difficult to get excited aboit travelling there on a Wednesday night so glad that is on tv.

I'm sure it only dropped to 50 points so it should be a cracking atmosphere! Aye i like these games where it sells out quick and doesnt go down too far, usually always results in a lot better atmosphere. Should be a good day!

On the subject of this, did anyone see what kicked off outside the ground after the match yesterday? We cane out the ground and headed towards Witton station and about 10 coppers came charging up with their batons out towards the North Stand, where the knobhead Villa fans in that corner would have been coming out, seeemed to die down quick enough as we were queing for the train round the corner and that was peaceful enough. We do have a lot of nobs in our support though no doubt about it, can make ot brrak an away day if you end up sat near the knobheads, wss a prize knobhead at the top of the upper tier yesterday, in p9 he for some reason trued to throw a bottle of what may have been piss at the Villa fans, completely fucked up his throw and threw it all across 3 rows of our supporters, who understandably werent happy to say the least

Its shaping up a lot like last time. We never really looked amazing at any points, the games were usually pretty dull and the quality of.football terrible, but we picked up the points when we needed too. Its a means to an end for now, when we go up though id hope our style changes a bit, but winning for now is the most important thing of course

I think that performance from Brighton today, a team regarded as one of the best in the Championship, sums up what this league is. People say the Championship is one of the most difficult leagues, and gemerally theyre right, but not because of teams being any good. Its basically a load of bang average sides battling against each other so it means it will always be competitive. All you need in this league is that bit of extra quality, premier league experience, thats why the likes.of Hull, Burnley and Norwich always yo yo because the quality they have is alwaye a step above the league in general but then they dont have enough money to compete once they get up; and thats where we should be different, as with those sides, we have that extra bit of quality that you need, so we should get up, and we also should have enough money to compete. Time will tell, but one thing for sure is that this league is just as shit as the last.time we were down here

Sure i read somewhere that from next season the PL are trying to make all teams house away fans in the lower tier close to the pitch. Cant remember where i saw it now. Guess we'd stick them in the lower leazes, would only really affect us if we go up, Sunderland, Man City and West Ham but i think its a good idea
