Forest have fell apart lately, havent won since god knows when and losing again tonight. Wheels have really come off for old Pearce
-
From watching both matches today and from yesterday, its evident how poor the quality is in the premier league this season, so much shit in the league and even the 'big' clubs play terrible boring football, might be the best league in the world for drama but for decent football and quality it's so shit
-
Got a feeling Man Utd will turn City over today, can see it being comfortable to, City will score but I reckon 1-3, possilbly 4
-
Got a feeling Man Utd will nick this, really hope Chelsea batter them though, the Manc supporters seem even more annoying this season for some reason
-
Riviere up front on his own again, thank goodness for that..it's worked so well for us the last 5 games. Unbelievable that we keep playing this same team, our squad really is awful. ''Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.''
-
Man Utd fans cost them that game by wanting a 4th goal when it was 3-1 like, should be ashamed of themselves.
-
Looking at how Leicester are playing here i'd say it's very likely we'll lose our next 3 league games (Stoke and Swansea Away before Leicester). That'll be enough for him to be gone surely? Least we'll only be rock bottom in mid October, you would think enough time to turn it round...next two after bring Spurs away and Liverpool home though...fucking hell, depressed myself now, be adrift by the end of November way things are going.

Got a last minute Man Utd goal written all over it this one

To be fair to Bruce, I hated him when he was at Sunderland but thats the only job hes really been shit at. Everywhere else he's done pretty well, I know Hull's form was shit at the end of last season, but the fact he kept them up and very nearly won the FA Cup negates all that. I think he'd be an improvement on Pardew, however if we have serious aspirations of being in the top 6 then he's not the man to do it.
-
I dunno, I think thats something that might be in our favour. He's desperate to prove himself again and might look to take a job that doesnt appear 'ideal'. Maybe at first he;d see it as a stepping stone but ideally we'd have Ashley selling up within a couple of years and may then get an owner that Moyes will have complete control with. I think it's a possibility he'd come here, its hardly like Man Utd are a club that let him have full control either, no coincidence that some of the players signed this summer were the same players they were linked with under Moyes.
-
Would take Moyes in a heartbeat. Everton were fantastic under him overall. The thing with Moyes as well is because it went so spectacularly wrong for him at Man Utd he'll be even more determined to prove he still has it and stick it to the critics. Could end up really working out for us. He's unattached as well so you've got no money to pay him out of a contract or anything. Only issue would be how he would work with Ashley, every chance with the players we have though that Moyes would do a real good job and have him believing again.

The amount of times him and Cabella got in good positions on the wing and there was no one to cross it too, so frustrating. Encouraging that he's getting in these sort of positions though, does look like he has genuine class

It's really annoying, i dread to think the image they give our club. Stuff like pissing about on the train, theres some people there that will see that and assume thats how Newcastle fans are, I know it doesnt mean a lot in the grand scheme of things but im proud of our club and area and it actually bothers me that people would think of us all like that. I as much as the next lad, love going to the pub on an away day and chanting for a couple of hours, theres nothing better, however when you get the tossers chucking beer everywhere, doing coke in the toilets and at one point, fucking moshing like they're at a metallica gig its embarrasing. Last season couple of lads got in such a state they didnt even make it out the pub, being sick everywhere and ended up passed out. Yeah away days and football in general are a good excuse for a day on the piss with the lads, but know your limits and don't let the club down. It'll be more of the same at Gillingham on Tuesday no doubt, cup games bring a lot of twats out, dreading it. Hopefully Southampton is better.
-
Noticed our fans have been getting worse like. Wonder if it's related to the wider driving down of standards at the club, if you don't have a club you can be proud of any more why care about the impression you make while following it. Possibly. It only seems to be the young'uns that act like tossers though, don't get me wrong i've seen some older folk piss about but by and large its the younger lads. Probably a by product of society in general at the moment I suppose. Problem is you cant have a word with them at the match about it otherwise its all 'We're here to support the club, fuck off if you don't like it etc etc', thing is with most of them they're so fucked up before the match they either don;t see any of it or end up getting chucked out anyway
-
What a depressing day yesterday was, Ignoring the match because thats been covered but it looked to me in the pub before the match that our young away followers are getting worse. Went in the Witton, went for a piss and there was 6 of them in a queue for the cubicle in the toilet...snorting away they were, obvious to see and bloody hear. Then there they were outside in the beer marquee thing chucking their pints everywhere and generally behaving like fucking idiots. I love a good craic at the away games as much as any but these lot really let us down, it's been like this the last couple of seasons now, getting progressively worse. Luckily where I was stood in the ground the atmosphere was alright and with some decent lads. Can see why people are put off following us away...and why other fans think we're a bunch of twats.
-
Where was he actually playing yesterday? It was unbelievable how deep he was at times, I mean dont get me wrong he wasnt the only one, but a lot of the times when we went forward I looked at him and he looked like he was playing in central midfield. He chased back well a couple of times down the wing but overall he was very poor and just seemed to be wandering around all over the place without really doing anything.
-
I think Colback is the sort of player every side in our sorta position needs, so around the top 8 mark. He's nothing flashy but he's a good passer of the ball and will get stuck in when he needs do. He's solid and reliable. Aye in an ideal world he wouldnt be a guaranteed starter, but he's definately a player worth having. In saying that I personally think he's been our best player first 2 games, whether that says more about the other players than him I dont know, but im certainly not devastated to see him starting. It's just important that the players in front of him feed off him and ignite flair and creativity, but thats another discussion.
-
The crowd will turn on Saturday I reckon. All it's going to take is for Palace to take the lead and the venom will be back. If that continues through the next say 3 games Ashley will have a decision to make.
-
After Gillingham 3 of our next 5 are away from home...lose all 3 of them and fail to get 6 points from Hull and Palace at home will see him gone before the Leicester game I reckon. Good riddance n all. The players we have are good but its clear to see they'll not realise their potential under him. We can sign all the decent players we want but as long as Pardew is the manager it'll matter not one jot. Ba and Cisse saved him 2 seasons ago, Remy saved him last season, he hasnt got anyone to save him now.
-
Seems to be somewhat apt at the moment, not all of it of course but a few of the lines hit home a bit. RIP.
-
How are yous going by train getting back to kings cross after the match? Bloody tube strike going ahead tonight!
-
This is ridiculous, Southampton werent even trying at the end. Blatantly been told by the manager to throw the match. Sunderlands draws in the cup this season have been a joke
-
With Southamptons team selection today, how shit they've been in general and Lamberts miss im almost convinced pocchetino has told them to make sure they lose. Baffling with how comfortable they are in the league.

Norwich v Man Utd game of the day on sky...what the fuck..
-
30,000 in there tonight so already better than Wigan in that respect. I like Brighton, real good set up they have there, decent set of fans and a unique stadium. Went down to the fa cup game back in January.and even.though the match was awful I liked the general atmosphere around the football club, think they'd be a good addition to the prem, generally try to play good football too.
