Yeah it is. The whole shirt was like it last year so i guess at least its only the back patch this time.
-
Nah its XL like usual, never known it this long like.
-
One thing that does jump out at me is that its bloody long! Got it on now and its well past my pockets on my jeans, odd.
-
Aye plastic patch is definently gone. It feels better than last year too and it isnt see through so its improved in that respect. The lack of stripes don't look too bad when its being worn I dont reckon, my favourite shirt was our relegation shirt ironically which was also a lot more black than white, so i don't mind this one either. Glad i saved a tenner on it though.
-
Its odd how much black there is to it. I like it but I can see why people might not.
-
There we go. Lot more black than I thought but i like it, obviously not ironed yet so ignore the creases ha. I think the back looks better this year without a number, black seems to look better blank than white.

the northern rock patch blends in this time, not a stick on, looks a hell of a lot better. The badge still looks like it could fall off at any minute but other than that its alright.

How the fuck do i post pictures not got a clue what im doing ha
-
Give us ten minutes and i'll stick some up.
-
Just got this through the post from Sports Direct already. 38.99 altogether and a day early. Good stuff. Feels quite good actually, better than last years anyway.

"we're going to bring in four or five players" Read More Source Better? That articles from March. I can seriously see us only bringing in 2 players plus selling Enrique. We'll be f***ed next season, with Nolan a year older etc, we need at least 4 new players, 5 if we sell Enrique, crisis time if we end up selling Barton.
-
Pardew would of wanted him though, theres no guarantee he'll get the 35 million anyway. He might have preferred the 35 million, but I doubt he'd be treating Carroll like a twat if he didnt get it. The rest of the squad would support Carroll anyway.
-
Have you ever worked anywhere where it was clear your boss didn't want you there? Most of them probably haha. Difference is, I'd see the boss on a daily basis, so if that was the case, it'd be very uncomfortable, how many times would Carroll even see Ashley? Hardly ever I'd of thought. He'd of still been picked, the fans would still adore him, as would his team mates, the owner not wanting him wouldnt really mean much.
-
Why sign a 5 year contract then? Why, in December, say you wanted to end your career and Newcastle and become a legend here? Thats the main issue, if he hadnt of said/done those things, I dont think he'd get the criticism he did. I wish I had 30,000 a week, poor lad, must have been such a struggle.
-
If im playing for my hometown club, with 50,000 people that adore me, knowing im the main man at my hometown club, living the dream so to speak, the fact an owner who no one likes anyway would rather get 35million for me than want me to stay, it really wouldnt bother me. Like I say if the rest of the players/fans wanted me gone etc I could understand it, but the fact he'd signed a 5 year deal means they couldnt do anything. Is Pardew going to suddenly stop playing him? Imagine the backlash, everyone would be behind Carroll, he wanted the money simple as, he's a liar, and the fact people can't see that is a shame. Least the away end let him know Sunday what the general consensus is of him.
-
You get told you aren't wanted. They chose the money over him. Fucking hell man come on, not wanted by who? Ashley? So fucking what. It's his hometown club and he was most definately wanted by all us supporters and the rest of his squad, Ashley might have chose the money, but Carroll didnt have to go if he didnt want to. It's not as though Ashley had all the players chucking eggs at Carroll as he arrived at training and got everyone booing him as he arrived. How many times would Carroll even come across Ashley anyway? He could have said no.
-
How do you get forced out of a club, thats what I want to know. The lad was our top striker, with a 5 year contract. Thats a 5 year contract. If he didnt want to go, and said no im not going, what could they realistically do? They're not going to suddenly stop playing him, or paying him, or anything like that. They couldnt get away with that. Maybe Ashley kept lighting a shit and pressing his doorbell then running off in the lead up to it, so Carroll felt he had no choice but to go. Or perhaps he kept making late night phone calls and whispering get out at him. Or more than likely, whilst Ashley did want to cash in, so did Carroll and he's using them forcing him out as an excuse. Yeah it's that one.

Shame Nolan didn't nut the cunt

To be fair they might have scored 3 other goals had they not got the luck, all im saying is the 3 goals they scored werent due to their class or anything like that, it was due to lucky deflections and Williamson losing his head. We were never going to score if we played all night with the shite we had up front, and if they needed to they probably could have. But based on the goals they did score, all were extremely forunate, Chelsea will batter us because they actually have a world class team. Liverpool are just a lucky side that hopefully fails when Dalglish actually has a full season in charge, I hate that cunt more than Liverpool themselves for what he did here, and i doubt he is the answer long term but thats another story. Anyway, my main point was the goals Liverpool actually did score were lucky, and even tho we were terrible, aside from Williamson, we were unlucky with the other 2.
-
We were poor but like I said if we had decent strikers I think we'd of got something because we were getting the ball into decent areas, especially in the first half.
-
Liverpool were so fucking lucky again yesterday, seriously I dont think i've ever seen a team get so much luck. They were shite yesterday, first goal was going wide and was deflected in, second goal was Williamson being a plank and the 3rd was deflected straight to Kuyt as well, all 3 shit goals and on another day avoidable. We dominated for 20 minutes in the first half too, if we had decent strikers I think we'd of got something yesterday. I really hope Liverpool fall a fucking part next season, they're shite.
-
I was glad to see he got loads of abuse too, generally the away support/feelings represents a large chunk of our support in how they feel etc, so hope he realises how much the majority of us despise the cunt now. In saying that though, in the pub after the game a couple of our lot were having a what seemed to be getting quite heated row about Carroll, one supporting the majority, scum bag, obviously wanted to leave etc, the other spouting the true faith shite.
-
And what was his response?
-
It's more to do with him saying how he hoped to end his career here and go on to be a geordie hero etc etc tho isnt it, then leaving a couple of months later when he gets offered more money. And all this bollocks about having no choice to leave, did Mike Ashley march him to Liverpool with a gun to his head? He had a 5 year contract, not like Pardew would have suddenly dropped him, if he wanted to stay he could have stayed. I have no respect for him anymore and hope Barton or Tiote clatter him on Sunday, it'd even be worth a red card, we're safe anyway, fuck him.
