We need a second to calm the nerves, if there are any. Villa please score you utter bellends
-
Weird that. Lazaar in at LB and put Dummett in at CB would have been the logical choice you'd think. Rafa obviously knows best and woll have this well planned out
-
Anyone fancy us to do a Portsmouth tomorrow, score 6 and win the title?
-
Henri Lansbury's corner whipped in and it comes off Knockeart's face and trickles over the line to make it Villa 1-1 Brighton in the last minute of injury time. Meanwhile, at St James'Park, Jack Colback is on the breakaway for Newcastle on the counter attack from a Barnsley corner. He runs through on goal and is taken down inside the area by the Barnsley keeper. PENALTY NEWCASTLE!!! With no Matt Ritchie around to fight with, up steps Mitrovic. He smashes the penalty off the underside of the bar to make it 3-2 to Newcastle with the last kick of the season and possibly of his Newcastle career and win the Championship title for his club. He goes towards the Gallowgate stand, absolute tears up his Wonga shirt, proceeds to take the Rafa flag from the Gallowgate flags section and holds it up with the rest of the players. Then gets a second yellow card for his celebration and bear hugs the s*** out of the ref.

.com confirming we'll be wearing wonga for the final time this Sunday. A bit gutted there hasn't been anymore leaks or previews for the new kit. Would have been good if people could see it before the season ends.
-
Wouldn't have needed it if they f***ing won last week. What a missed opportunity to celebrate winning the title in front of your own fans.
-
Won't be mad or dissapointed if we win the match but still don't win the title. We've done all we could after seemingly throwing it away in the last few weeks. To finish a point behind the champions won't be bad. A joyful day out, with a noisy crowd singing Rafa's songs for 90mins would be great.
-
Perez vs Brighton for me. But on a more negative note, if we finish a point behind Brighton on Sunday, then that Leeds equaliser on Good Friday or that equaliser QPR got up at SJP would be regrettable for me.
-
Why? They're after Michael O'Neill, the Northern Ireland manager not Martin O'Neill that ex-mackem Republic manager. Don't see much wrong with that.
-
Sky basically want to show 1 of Forest or Blackburn going down or even both surviving. Showing images of grown men crying is what Sky's objective is.
-
Yup. Discussed a few pages back I thing. There'll be the real trophy and a replica of it. Possibly the real one would be at Villa Park since it's in Brighton's hand and the replica at SJP. Both grounds will also have the runner-up trophy on standby. Runner up do get a medal too I think? Saw a picture of the Bolton manager biting a medal at the weekend.

Suspect relegation fight will be on. Sky have 2 games from the last round of fixtures and have 2 issues to resolve. 1. Title decider. Think they'll choose Villa-Brighton over us vs Barnsley as it's still in their hands. Of course they'll have cameras at SJP and do crossovers or switch the matches during the game if the title is ours but reckon their coverage will be from Villa Park. 2. Relegation decider. It's between Brum, Forest and Blackburn and they'll have 1 of these on. 3 big teams with past Premier League history dropping into League 1 is a big deal to Sky so expect 1 of the games to be shown.

"Love it if we beat them. Love it!"
-
Hahaha. All those fans coming to the stadium today with their Champions scarf and decorations. Tear 'em up boys. You're not going to need it!
-
I know a lot on here have Knockeart here before me but not me. He's always been a cunt even more so since the day Brighton won promotion. The cunt couldn't do much against Paul fucking Dummett.
-
Would rather the title is won by them today rather than giving us hope for next weekend and then us getting pissed off with Villa rolling over for them or us to concede a last minute goal to lose it. Would be happy today as mackems have already made it a near-perfect season.

We're still fighting for the title. Though can probably see Brigton having a proper party tomorrow and thump Bristol City tbh. -
Brilliant away support. So much better than at SJP
-
Have they extended that stand?
-
Hope we turn on the style instead of downing tools tonight. Players just need the right motivation. Title chance might be slim but why not just go all out? Nothing to lose except just the match tbh.

Our players (except Ritchie maybe) probably love having Mitro around the place. He might be crap at scoring goals but he'd probably be the one in the dressing room who'd do or say things to liven up the place after a defeat or a dull day at training. -
You'd imagine if we were to wear the new kit at home to Barnsley next Sunday, we'd unveil it this week or early next week the latest. But I doubt we will as wonga is still the sponsor and the bad publicity we might get if it was some shit company from the Far East with the HMRC case still too early to settle down.

Think I'd go for Leeds and Wednesday to bring back some good past rivalries in the league. Then Fulham, huddersfield and Reading. -
Think we'll win but just can't see Brighton dropping points at home to Bristol city tbh.
