Just seen Juve wearing their new kit from yesterday's match. If we get anything similar to that (seeing it's similar to the Dortmund one) think it could work with the new EFL numbers.

Does those numbers have '24 balls' in them to represent 24 clubs?

If he stays, not only I'm confident that we'll go straight back up, but we could even have a real go at one of the cups as I think he'll want silveware as a mark of his stay. Of course promotion would be his priority.

That Dortmund kit with black as our main colour might be nice.

Could anyone try invert those black and white colours and see how it looks like? Having white as the base colour makes it look like a training top or the members shirt from this season. But did we get a rumour saying the new kit would be a simple and 'classy' design?

Just hope if he stays, he doesn't leave us when other big clubs or country come calling. And we as fans should always stick by him even if we have hard times in the Championship.

I know a lot of people have suggested Lascelles as captain but I think if he was to stay, I'd put De Jong as captain. Yes maybe Lascelles looks the part and he should get it but De Jong was captain of Ajax and even before the emergence of Lascelles, there were times De Jong looked like a leader when playing. He might have his health and injury issues but I remember we had Nicky Butt as captain with Alan Smith as vice captain the last time we were in the league and they were sometimes out injured. Have someone who has been captain before and a young gun as vice captain. It's a tough league and a long season ahead. We need some experience and enthusiasm to lead the charge for promotion.

Good that this isn't on Sky. They would have milked seeing the Geordies cryin' and all.
