Where is the Pearson talk from again?
  2. Blamed his other keeper too didn't he? He's going to put Woodman Sr. in goal next.

Expect it to be tomorrow either he stays or go. Either way, can see some kind of statement being released.
  4. That was a reasonable question, what a f***ing detestable t*** He's cracking badly. Matter of time before he pulls some s*** on thetouchline What a cunt! Has he been skipping his anger management sessions? Live on Sky and he acts like a fool? That's fine by me. May it continue!
  5. Starting to fear that he'll break the duck against us.
  6. Aye. At least they're right about something. Celtic- a club like no other. Dear me.

Nah. If you look at what Pardew and Carver were going through, the club were quick and decisive in making a statement backing their man. They didnt do it after the Chelsea mauling, the tame surrender at Stoke and the shambles of yesterday including that supposed statement from the 'players'. Keeping my glass half full for now.
  8. What an end to the game! Fuck off Pardew. Enjoy your Palace. All we need now is breaking news mcclaren getting sacked tonite.
  9. Stupid Milner. Palace going to win it now

Think this season we had two on the same Sunday afternoon iinm. Can't remember who it was but think Rodgers was one of them. Could be wrong though. EDIT: it was Advocat resigning and Rodgers sacked 4 October 2015
  14. Surprised Rodgers isn't getting much mention compared to Moyes.

The defeat to Chelsea was a good time for them to get rid of him. But at that time, not many of the media or even fans we on the Sack McClaren bandwagon. Had they sacked him then and we were still relegated, they could have been blamed for sacking him too early and not giving him time and trust. Now after yesterday, everyone is calling for McClaren's head, they should go through with sacking him and if it doesn't work out, they can simply blame the fans and press for forcing him out. Win-win for Ashley & co.

Said it before, keyword now is desperate. It all depends on how desperate the situation is for the fat man. His SportsDirect is losing money and he knows relegation means he loses out on all the £££ coming in especially after he let McClaren spend big in January. Does he like to gamble? History suggest yes. But the stakes for him right now is higher than it has ever been before. If he was a clever businessman, he would sack McClaren eventhough it will cost him money, throw some money to get a good, big name, succesful replacement in and at the end of the season, end up with guaranteed £££ if we avoid the drop. It all depends on how desperate he is.

If he doesn't go today, he won't go. That's it. Club should come out and make a statement to confirm he's staying or going to put us out of our misery.
  20. Crazy thinking back that Leicester were 0-2 down to Villa with 20 minutes to go earlier this season. How their fortunes have changed.

One thing that has been distinctly different to how the club is handling this mess is the lack of any statements backing McClaren. Previously, when there were news regarding the manager being pushed out coming out in the press, especially during Pardew's time, it was swiftly countered by a strong denial from the club and backing of the manager until the end of the season. Forget that crap from the supposed 'players' statement yesterday. You would have thought after the Chealsea mauling and the tame Stoke defeat, something would have been said by the club to dismiss the reports of him getting the sack if we lost to Bournemouth before the game to ease the pressure on him from the fans and media. Until the club says anything, there's a chance he will be pushed out as he's clearly not walking out by himself. Cue a Sunday morning statement by the club backing the c***.
  22. How can McClaren think he can change things and get it right in the final 10 games? Look at his line up today, look at his substitution, look at how he couldn't even hold a water bottle, the man's lost the plot and yet the board wants to trust him?

Prefer Rafa too, but Moyes would be better than McClaren. Won't complain as long as we get rid of McClaren tonite and get Moyes in a.s.a.p

    Steve McClaren

It's clear to see that no one thinks sticking with McClaren is any good right now. Complete change of opinions after the shambles today from that statement until the final kick off the ball. Really don't know how McClaren has any confidence to keep us up anymore. Probably even he knows it's impossible and only in for the money now.
