Will the Joelinton flag be the center focus for the match today? Hope he'll be able to see it and drives him on even more today. -
We have the funds no matter how inflated the prices are. To get a better defender is going to be hard this January. Even if you do get a chance, you'd need to raise it probably to Van Djik levels of fees with no guarantees you'd get similar quality. I say better spend the available.cash we have on what is available right now rather than looking back regrettably having funds but not spending it and getting relegated. My only hope is if we do get him, he doesn't turn into Boumsong MKII.

Hope we still do some transfer business eventhough the team will be out there.
-
To be honest, the Longstaff's have a knack of hitting it from the edge of the box.
-
Can atleast see us troubling their defence a bit with Wood in. What was frustrating against Cambridge was we were crossing and lumping balls into the box without any hope of anyone attacking it. Their keeper had a pleasant 2md half apart from that save from Big Jow at the end. With Wood in there, his presence itself can unsettle their defence which hopefully will open up chances for us to capitalise on. That is why the likes of ASM, Big Joe, Shelvey should be ready to pounce on any loose balls in and around the box.
-
Our owners can just pay that to any player willing to join I'd imagine.

With the amount of time the club has taken to get Trippier and Wood officially signed, think it's irrelevant when the registration deadline for the Watford game is anyways. Howe would have planned all week with what we have. Get in a CB and a LB before the Leeds game and we'll be better. Just got to go with what we have for Saturday now. The rest of the month after the Leeds game will be more crucial, a marquee CM possibly?
-
What's our next option then?
-
Yes. Let's hope so. Think Howe will get a response from the players. Similar to the Man Utd game after we got thras at Leicester and got beat at Liverpool. NWOAT by the way.
-
Happy with this. A PL striker, most importantly in before the Watford game. I said previously, we've been knocking crosses in, we've been creating chances, flashing the ball across goal with no one capable of sticking them in. Woods will hopefully put one or two of those chances in. Much better option than having ASM playing and dancing up top on his own and then see his trick knock off his shin and out of play. Or Jacob Murphy having a one on one with the keeper and chipping it as soft as a soggy chips into the keepers arms.
-
How does Ayoze get on at Leicester these days? Is he a regular starter? I know Vardy is out for a while but does it mean Ayoze gets morr chances? Honestly, if we need proven attackers, we should try get him back. Or at least ask for him on loan. He'd be our focal point in attack and when Wilson does get back, you got a potential partnership there ala Ayoze-Rondon.
-
Really hope we get a move on in the striker search. We need one who can instantly hit the ground running and put away any chances we create against Watford. It'd be fucking frustrating again if we create opportunities but don't have someone to stick it in. Watching ASM on Saturday was so frustraing. Murphy is more direct. He loves a shot at goal. But either he gets a shot away and it goes in/on target/off the post or it'd be one of his stinking decisions like in the last minute against Watford in the reverse fixture.

You'd probably be able to do a short video compilation of his fails yesterday. Absolutely enraged with his display.
-
I have consistently wanted him out of the team since the Arsenal game. He is absolutely cowshit. Don't know what actually he brings to the team.
-
Thread title is unreal, man.
-
Lost his nuts at the Euros. Continued into this season now.
-
MiGhT as well get Shearer out of retirement. Better than Gayle, ASM or Joelinton to stick the ball in the back of the net.
-
Must have met Bruce after the Man Utd game. Turned into a bumbling Brazillian again today.
-
0 goals 0 assist this season. And a cunt too.
-
Surprise surprise. All other PL teams are winning/drawing their ties against lower league teams. Only sad old Newcastle do cupsets these days.
-
No striker, no win.
-
Only good thing we can take out from today is, we need a fucking striker in quick before the Watford game. We can't rely on ASM if that was our plan? Unreliable.
-
Didn't Wilson have a goal.disallowed for offisde against Man U and I was convinced it also took a touch of a defender before reaching him?
