I mean..look at that. Those letters could have been placed somwhere on the compounds of SJP and still could be used for photo taking or something. But all fat Mike was thinking of was making money. Stupid cunt.

    Alan Shearer

Something I did notice though. He had far more things to say about Dalglish and Sir Bobby than Keegan. Even made it a point he signed for the club and not Keegan. Not saying anything but it is a bit different to how the likes of Sir Les, Ginola, Rob Lee, Warren Barton or even Bez talk about Keegan. Shearer did spend only 6 months plus under him here but played under him for England too later.

Ffs. I'm really warming to the idea of atleast a live drone broadcast of them tearing down that SD sign on the East Stand. Plus that hideous Newcastle United font they have right now. I'd fucking pay to watch it on ppv or something. But what do you think will happen to the East stand? 1) take down SD signs but replace with new sponsors. Newcastle United font stays? 2) Take down SD and Newcastle signs and replace with the old Newcastle United font. Back to the original? 3) a complete new design, perhaps with the club badge? Although if any there are any plans to change the club badge in the near future would render such a design useless. Of course I'd want option 2.

    Alan Shearer

Got to say, just watched it, and after hating him for his support to Bruce, and he still supports his pal in this video by the way, I'm in love with Big Al again. Hero of mine growing up. Yeah, I'm upset at him for the past 2 and a half year or so but there'll never be a footballer like him for us ever again. Played for us without winning trophies but acheieved more than he had ever dreamt of. Hope he gets his statue moved to within SJP grounds and hope he does get some kind of recognition or role from the new owners.

    Alan Shearer

Any reaction from them on this?
  6. Think if Howe went there, it would have been an upgrade on Smith. He would have made them good and go to the next level with their backing and facilities already in place. So glad he's with us though. Surprising, Martinez still has no suitors given his release clause is considered low.
  7. Is it normal that when new owners takeover a club, there is no press conference like the one for Eddie yesterday? Has there ever been one for owners? Could just be my imagination aye but thought we often rolled out press conference for the media for stuff like new managers and signings.
  8. I don't get why these new and young managers want to jump too quickly and return back to their clubs. Look at Lampard and how shit that turned. Giggs at Man Utd earlier. Ole did have a go somewhere else but ended up back there too. Heck, even Shearer when he came back here. I hope Gerrard gets some more years of experience and maybe at another club after Villa before going back to Anfield. Rooney would have been going to Old Trafford had it not been so shit and Derby but if he gets them going good, he'll end up there or at Everton soon enough. Could you imagine big Andy Carroll suddenly goes into management and after a good few season somewhere, he ends up here just because he was here before?
  9. Aye, they've missed quite a few 'storyline matches' so to speak. Got lucky they chose us Vs Spurs, new owners or their favourite Steve Bruce's 1000th and last game in charge. Serves them right to be honest. All they want to do is speak about Man Utd anyways so enjoy watching Ole at the wheel.
  10. Lucky then that the Liverpool vs Villa hasn't been selected by Sky or BT.
  11. Wooo. Think he'll be good but like @brummie said, a bit deflating. And the love-in would be a bit annoyying for Villa fans when it'll be all about Anfield and Liverpool instead of Villa Park and Aston Villa. Feel a bit for Rangers. Put faith in him and Rangers were getting better. Hope they get a good replacement in.
  12. Watching this and also his presser just now, I'm so impressed to how much imortance he places on education. He repewts it several times. Really learns and wants to better himself and his coaching. And he uses 'we' instead of 'I'. Shows how much he appreciates his coaching team. Not a sniff of arrogance. None of the 'i have 20 years of experience and 1000 games and I get abused that my dead parents would be heartbroken if they heard it' craic.
  13. Wow.. A manager who does not interrupt the interviewer before the question ends. A manager who does not belittle his job, the the history, the traditions, the supporters of his club. A manager who does not go "it is.what it is and we have to accept it" but instead says "the players and the coaching team will give their all, sacrifice and suffer to make the club better again". A manager who does not go "i have 20 years of experience and 1000 games under my belt" but instead says education is important and he continues to learn even when he was out of the game. Bagawd JR. That's my gaffer Eddie Howe! Love the bloke.
  14. Well, they're also making life hard for themselves too
  15. These two were also there. Guess it's great that the foundation are able to get a wider coverage now compared to the Ashley days. Good start from PCP so far their PR exercise
  16. It is her. Don'tknow how to post pics from her ig here though. https://www.instagram.com/p/CWFw44Hq9q4/?utm_source=ig_web_button_share_sheet
  17. It feels different with Eddie and also the new owners. Eddie probably has the same traits and philosophies as Rafa. We all wanted Rafa to succeed and we genuinely knew he would have. Fat Mike was going to benefit any success Rafa would have the team achieve but the cunt was so stupid to even realise that so didn't back Rafa. Now, with Howe and owners both wanting the same thing, it really feels like a fresh start, albeit with the same players for now. But it feels good infinitely.
  18. Nah. Me too. But googled it and understood why Bruce didn't do it. Fat useless pig that Bruce.
  19. Aye. Thought so. But he has been shit and lashing out at tram mates in the past few games post-Bruce though. Hope he is happy now that we have a coach in. A proper one too.
  20. Two things stuck out with me from that training vid. First,Eddie is doing both the talking and running and his assistants are closely watching all the players, either during the talks or while playing. Could be they're the ones who'll be reporting to Eddie whick players leans on posts, those who don't run or those who gassed out easily. If this was a Bruce session, no one would give a fuck. Bruce would be busy playing his 'balls' and the other Steves joking around with the players. Second, ASM better get his act together. I don't know whether his it's his style or what but his body language in that vid was he couldn't be arsed. He's been shit and lashing out frustrated in matches ever since his step-da Brucey left. Now that we have a decent coach who can get the best out players and money to spend in January, if ASM isn't happy, he can fuck off.

    Graeme Jones

You know what. I really want him t to be interviewed by one of the journos and asked about the impact Howe has had on training coz I bet you now, he'll have a proper dig at the fat bacon cunt Bruce. Yeah2 i get it, Jones was handling training and all that but Bruce was the manager so fuck it. Asking players won't get the same answers or snipey comments about training like Jones would probably give, well, maybe except for Ritchie though. let's see how he fits in. Fresh start for him. If he can work with Southgate, give him the chance with Howe too.
  22. Wowowowowoow!!!! What time was it that Bruce turned up at work? 11 was it? He didnt even turn up the day after the owners had takenover it, right?
