Unpopular opinion: Howe wouldn't be a good England manager, he needs time for his methods to take shape, it took him 10 games to get to that Leeds win when he first joined, and since then, he's tends to give new signings time to get up to speed. That time he would not have in the 2 weeks he'll get 4 times a season as well as the 2 weeks before a tournament.

I didn't make it, I saw it on the Euro 2024 Sub Reddit and it made me laugh as Scotland where bottom

It'll be Carsley imo, which while people would scoff at, wouldn't be a bad appointment, won the under 21's last year, plays fluid and attractive football, and keeps the continuity going for a lot of the players in the squad which the FA are big on.

In terms of teams Spain beat to win this, can't be much better/ harder runs to win a tournament.

Right so, back to actual football yeah? -
Spain beat Italy, Croatia, Germany, France and us. Hold your hands up and say fair fucks.

What in the actual fuck is this closing ceremony.

The Olympiastadion is a class stadium like.

I'm actually not that nervous, firstly because I've not overly got into this tournament, and secondly as I think Spain will win, they've been the best team in the tournament by a distance, and think they'll be too much for us. That'll probably change 2 minutes before KO mind.
-
Outrageously good stadium that.

We've also just appointed a new Sporting Director who specialises in recruitment who probably wants to get his feet under the table before signing off on any deals, as well as lost Staveley and Mehrdad who where also key parts of the transfer committee, so I imagine they'll be waiting for the dust to settle, before blowing a load over the transfer window.

I was listening to the Football Ramble the other day, and they raised a good idea. Footballers should start specifying in their contract the maximum number of games they can play per year throughout all competitions, say 50 for example, then it's on the club to decide what games they want that player to play in.

You'd imagine the players on international duty will return post the tour to Japan, that'll give them 3ish weeks of rest and recuperation. -
Its not been a little criticism though has is, it's been way way over the top, and for the most part totally needless.
-
I hate to break this to people, but you don't get to a final just on luck
