  1. I know it early days, and you'll probably start to see the benefits of his coaching next season, but from the (admittedly few) games i've seen of Man United under Amorim, they seem alot worse than under ETH. They just seem to carry zero threat, and have no obvious patterns of play, while at the same time being as fallible defensively as they ever have been. Atleast under ETH they where shit, and wildly open, but there games where entertaining and they created chances. Even in the game against Man City, in which they won, they where second best for the majority of it, against the worst City side in a decade. Unless they spend another £150 million, to get another set of new players, I just can't see this side being anything more than lower top half. I also don't think the massive swapping of players between games that Amorim has been doing is a particularly good thing, I understand the reason for doing it, but it means that the better players that should be in the "first XI" can't get into any rhythm, and get up to speed with the system he's trying to implement.
  2. I shouldn't laugh too much, as they'll no doubt turn up on Monday
  3. Demolishing Villa 3-0 with ease. Man City dropping points, with Haaland missing a Penalty. Tottenham Losing to put more pressure on Mate™ Chelsea losing despite being ahead in 85th Minute. Man United being as insipid as ever with Bruno Fernandes getting sent off. If Carlsberg did boxing days.
  4. Dubravka: 7 Trippier: 7.5 Schär: 7 Burn: 8 Hall: 7 Bruno: 8 Tonali: 9 Joelinton: 8 Murphy: 7.5 Isak: 8 Gordon: 9
  5. Fernandes has been sent off 3 times already this season? Fucking hell
  6. What a dreadful half of football
  7. Miley had more touches in his 1 minute cameo, than what Leon Bailey had in his 25 minutes on the pitch.
  8. Am I really bias, as I just looked on Reddit and everyone seems to be saying it was a really harsh red card, whereas I think it was a blatant
  9. 12 days ago going into the Leicester game we where 12th on -2 goal difference, a week and a half later, and we've won 3 in a row, have a +9 goal difference and are 5th
  10. That was a Trippier 2022/23 performance that, top quality all round.
  11. That Liverpool game last season has cast a massive shadow on my psyche like, even in the 90th before Joelinton scored, I was really nervous despite us being really comfortable What a result, and performance though, that could have been 6/7 on another day. Tonali, Trippier, Gordon, Hall, all absolutely quality. Can't believe we're 5th.
  12. Emery's face after Duran kicks the bottle
  13. Rooney has to be getting a late Christmas present tonight surely.
  14. Proper bit of needle in that, was a decent half, set up perfectly by the early goal. Would be tempted to take Joelinton off for Willock as he's been angsty, and Taylor seems very card happy.
  15. Duran has two bites at the cherry on Schar, arguably the left foot stamp was worse than the rake along the back.
  16. I always forget that the Taylor handball red card, and the Bowyer + Dyer fight happened in the same game
