Would imagine it'll be fluid, Gordon, Bellingham and Palmer can all play through the middle.

Buy the whole worlds supply of blinds?

Is it just me or has every football podcast been inundated with an obscene amount of adverts recently? Like, I know they're not everyone's cup of tea, but I still don't mind listening to them, the Football Ramble has 5 and a half minutes of ads at the start recently, plus two 2 minute ad breaks during the actual podcast, and it's not just them, every football podcast I listen to is the exact same. It's ridiculous.

Too far way that, having it attached to the top of the Angel of the North is a better idea imo.

Just as an aside, modern football is the pits. PSR; Financial Fair Play; VAR; the standard of refereeing; the fact that states can buy clubs; the fact the capitalists can buy clubs with the only care being to flip a profit; ticket and merchandise prices hikes; TV price hikes; fake fans like Mark Goldbridge continually stoking a negative narrative all to generate clicks and divide discourse; inflated transfer fees and wages that mean the common person can't relate to the people they're watching; the Premier League/ La Liga etc prioritizing and favoring select clubs just because they have the biggest "brand". All of it shit, utter utter shit and its going to lead to a point where at some point football is going to implode in on itself, and i'm starting to think it needs to happen sooner rather than later.

What do we reckon, the PSR limit being extended so that clubs like Arsenal can comply with the new loan based ruling?
-
Thats from the Premier Leagues statement, doesn't seem to be as big a smoking gun as first thought?

How about Nottingham Forest at home? Or Ipswich away? Or Brighton away when two up at half time?
-
Unlike you to be needless condescending for no real reason. Sorry Bruh

That's not what he said. And our corners haven't been great this season, but they're not abject, that's just hyperbolic nonsense.
-
Well, statistically, they're not, and are actually really effective
-
"If we have any hope of getting top 4 we have to be beating teams like Forest at home, its unacceptable that we drew that game." The Chelsea forum probably.

We scored 15 goals from set pieces last season, the 5th best in the league. We've scored one from them this year so far, with the league high only being 3.

Durham score in the last minute of normal time

He gave the ball away once or twice as he got tired, but he adds so much to our play, and the his movement is excellent. His one touch passing allows us to be so much fluid on the ball.

This was a fun 5 minutes for Celta Vigo today
-
He won't next game, as he'll be travelling back from South America a few days before, but i'd be starting Miggy soon. I don't think Murphy performed badly at all, but Miggy seems to have a decent bit of zip about him when he came on and added a different dimension, and got into some good positions.

KI my dear summer child, you're forgetting the cardinal rule of Newcastle fans: "Everything is awful always"
-
Our pass completion was 86% from 553 passes, which is generally pretty good if not spectacular, Arsenals's today was 90% from 480 passes.

FWIW Both things can correct, it can be a decent performance, with signs of us getting back to our best, and it can also be a poor result overall. Even if personally i'll never grumble about a point on the road, my default before any away game (Unless against a utter trash team like Sheffield United) is "Take a point".
-
Thought the performance was decent, and that there where signs of us getting back to high performance levels. It wasn't an amazing display by any means, but it wasn't utter horseshit like some are claiming. Ultimately he can't legislate for poor finishing.
-
Personally thought that was a decent performance, with a bunch of positives coming from it, it's just really frustrating we weren't able to finish. We where really solid, and controlled most of the game, and that was probably our best away performance in a long time. Think there are signs we are getting back to ourselves. Think that was a solid if frustrating point.

New Rule: Anthony Gordon isn't allowed to play against Everton Football Club.
