You'd think that Gordon would be well up for this, not just because he's going back to Everton, but because it'll be the last time that he'll play at Goodison, which given he'd been at Everton since a very young kind, you'd think would mean a lot to him.

A 70k stadium is the sweet spot like. Especially if it does have expandability.

If there was ever a set of quotes laying down the ground work for a move away from SJP, it's that.
-
Not called up for the latest England squad.

We've got the entire player range in fairness: https://shop.newcastleunited.com/collections/players-24-25-range

If we do rebuild St James, it'll be really interesting to see what we do if we need to relocate temporarily, and where we play our games, as the nearest would be SoL and I highly highly doubt they'll let us
-
Dumb question, but should we build a new stadium, what would people want it to be named? It'd likely be "Newcastle United Stadium" like the "Tottenham Hotspur Stadium" but thats really boring
-
Same team as against Man City for this please.
-
But you still get mistakes week in week out? So what real difference has it made?
-
I think we just agree to disagree as personally I think that goal showed how it did completely ruin the moment, as it was a good minute after the goal that VAR intervened. Personally I absolutely despise VAR and this it encapsulates everything wrong with modern football and want it scrapped.
-
Maybe, but how often do blatantly wrong calls like that happen? It ruins the emotion and the ability to actually celebrate a goal, and basically ruins the most fundamental part of the game in the pursuit of a perfection that just isn't ever possible, I'd much rather accept that mistakes occasionally happen from human individuals than the this current saturated VAR we have at the moment.
-
Gnabry That would have been a cracking break if he'd squared that too.
-
As funny as that is. VAR is still proper shit, ruins what should have been an a defining moment for a lot of the young fans in that crowd.
-
That crowd went so flat

Jealous for Villa fans tonight, remember the feelings this time last year as we where gearing up to play PSG, the anticipation, the excitement
-
Its 20 minutes before Aston Villa's first home Champions League game in 40 odd years, so obviously the BBC publish this:
-
Don't worry, NUFCWill confirmed that we had agreed to pay off his contact in August, so i'm sure that's going to happen any moment now.
-
I genuinely though he was wearing a creased t-shirt to start with, his diet must be the leanest in existence
-
One final point, can we all collectively claim time back from the ref for wasting our time? Where did 5 minutes of stoppage time come from
-
That was utterly utterly boring, but we didn't get out of neural, let alone first gear, and we got through. They had two shots all game, both in the 95th minute, which sums it up really. So job done, and we all forget this game ever happened.
