  1. I wouldn't mind buying another LB, putting Santon right behind Debuchy tbh. Something like this, with Debuchy much deeper. (OCD's a tough bugger like) Krul Santon Taylor Colo New LB Anita Tiote Debuchy Cabaye Ben Arfa Cisse
  2. Working wonders already then
  3. Is it just me, or did it look shopped at first glance? Anyway, welcome Mathieu.
  4. Tbf he must be a b****** to handle with all those greedy crocodiles behind him. Having him out of the way must be like removing a gun that's been pointed at Mike and Dekka's head for one and a half years.

  6. Actually, his involvement there would unravel so much. Interesting to see if he plays.
  7. http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/newcastle-united/nufc-news/2013/01/01/pardew-s-delight-at-deal-for-mathieu-debuchy-72703-32524164/?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter Not sure if posted. Seems a done deal.
  8. I'll go for Colo. Looked set for biggest flop of the decade, but his recovery was just phenomenal. One of the best centre backs to represent Newcastle, and the only one in that list who would probably have a shout among the "best Toon XI ever" lists. Talented player, class individual, and our best foreign captain ever. I think we'll look back on this thread in the years to come and go for Bigi though. Such promise oozing from the lad, and a likable individual as well.
  9. My money's on 274. inner voice says I better not jinx this s***.
  10. GW 21 West Brom 2 - 1 Fulham Man City 3 - 0 Stoke Swansea 3 - 0 Aston Villa Tottenham 4 - 1 Reading West Ham 2 - 1 Norwich Wigan 1 - 3 Man Utd Southampton 2 - 3 Arsenal Chelsea 5 - 0 QPR Liverpool 1 - 0 Sunderland Newcastle 3 - 2 Everton
  11. ^Aye. First thing I did notice last night was how similar he was to Carrick. Spreads the play neatly to kick start attacks from the back. Not a destroyer at all, nor is he a Yaya Toure-style battering ram. He'll be a regular next year.
  12. Got their home top off this year. Too classy. The new one's not making me regret my decision so far.

    Alan Pardew

We've been laughing at Sunderland and Steve f***ing Bruce, yet we've somehow managed to create the closest replica of that hellhole. F*** this club.
  14. And he was at the statistical team of the year or something?
  15. Also, stop it with saying we've played our best football. Football is a game of two parts: attacking and defending. We've been far from excellent in one side, and that adds up to mediocrity, which is where we rightly are.
  16. Ayt. I'll do this legit. Pardew - 3. I'll give him credit for his starting tactics, but he just has to take the blame for how we capitulated. That "no goals" imbued fear in our ranks, and the subs changed the game, for Arsenal. Shame as I was warming to him after the last game/Fergie comments. Krul - 4. Sums us up. Performed so well and capitulated like everyone else. Simpson - 2. Lost to just about everyone who had a go at him. Useless in both attacking and defending. And I'm being too kind with my words. Perch - 3. Was solid but just fell when everyone did. Positively, a sight for sore eyes not to see hoofing from the back with him in. Coloccini - 3. Was not there when we needed leadership. Rolled over and took the team down with him. Santon - 2. Worst game in our shirt. Nothing came off in attack, and got caught out time and time again. Tiote - 2. Just too careless to be in our team. Does nowt in attack too. ------------------------------------------------------------Purgatory---------------------------------------------------------------- Bigi - 6. Beautiful spreading of the play. Shades of Carrick v us a few days back. Marveaux - 7. Our most creative player. Happy for his first goal, but sorry that he got it in these circumstances. Cisse - 4. Least impressive of our attacking players. Invisible. Ba - 7. Marveaux crafted, he buried. So powerful to deal with, and just has a striker instinct to match. Now I feel ashamed that he plays for us. Deserves better with this performance. Obertan - 7. One of few players to get any credit in our poor shows lately. Much better on the left, beats his man, and has two feet.
  17. Our attack just doesn't deserve this shower of s*** by those in their bumsides.
