Hated, adored, never ignored. GGMU.

Nothing to do with me either. We're just rent free in some of your heads.

Former Champions League winners. Arguably the best side in the world tbh.
-
We had an away European game this week and had a day less rest than them. Let's not forget that.
-
Wouldn't say I like him, but I do think he's a decent coach. Regardless of this it's still becoming untenable.
-
Probably mate aye. Anything but a win against Villa and they might pull the trigger.
-
@Kaizero tell him about Bodø/Glimt/Knutsen
-
24 times under Ten Hag we've conceded 3+ by the way.
-
That's just media nonsense, so don't get your hopes up. If he's sacked they'll keep Van Nistelrooy until the summer. Less compensation required that way as well.
-
This is the thing though, he has never lost the dressing room. They run like fuck for him (Rashford aside). The players have downed tools for every manager in the last ten years, but not for Ten Hag. I think there's belief in his system, but he just can't get it click consistently. Even last night we were knocking the ball about with some great passages of play, but the capitulation is just too regular for this to work. Let's make no mistake here as well. Porto away is not an easy game by any stretch of the imagination. They were narrowly beaten by Barcelona there last year, and they beat Arsenal there eventually losing to them on penalties (I think). We had 29 goal attempts last night which is apparently the most they've ever conceded at home. We're just so defensively frail in flash periods and we always seem to get heavily punished for it. Like look at this shit: How does that even happen at a professional level regardless of coaching. Just pure capitulation.

Correct. Incorrect. Correct.

And winning trophies.

What a sub from Erik Ten Trophies.
-
It had zero effect on the game. I think people are just discussing the consistency of the decisions.
-
Come on man. You had plenty on here suggesting it was a red card for Fernandes.
-
One says "occurs away from the ball", the other says "does not involve trying to play the ball." They read separate to me. Either way, you're suggesting that if the force is neglible, they shouldn't be sent off? So if you throw a punch and miss, it's OK? I do think Schar's was soft by the way. I'm just saying that they're never, ever going to overturn those, because he did still lean his head in, and Diaz's reaction is irrelevant. Of course, but you can also dive while being on the receiving end of violent conduct. Like Stephens deserved a red against Garnacho, but Garnacho definitely dived as well.
-
I think it's one of those ones that if Diaz had done the same to Schar, you would be crying out for a red. Either way, those ones are never getting overturned.,"Cartel 6" or not.
-
What you've just posted from the IFAB reads to me like punching, kicking and headbutting are instant reds regardless of force.
-
It's brutal. Not a proper football man by any stretch of the imagination, but the game has genuinely gone soft. There's very little needle allowed anymore.
-
Diaz frightened for his life there as well, poor fella.
-
You need to see it again. He lunged at him studs up. He didn't connect with the studs but the intent was there. Also much higher than Fernandes, and with way more force. This is where the actual contact was for Bruno's: This was where it was for Stephens: Southampton didn't appeal it though. I was more addressing where someone has been unsuccessful with an appeal for an incident as farcical as the Fernandes tackle.
-
There were numerous factors at play with Fernandes' one. There was no violent intent, it wasn't dangerous, he slipped, the contact was minimal etc. etc. It was at worst a professional foul warranting a yellow card. When he was the instigator or not, and whether or not Diaz made a meal of it, Schär did lean his head in to another player. Those ones are never, ever getting overturned. Have you got examples where reds weren't overturned when a team appealed such an appalling decision?
