It's understandable as it's so long ago, but when people are now comparing Pep and Fergie they're COMPARING Pep with Fergie at Man United. His Aberdeen achievements are arguably just as impressive.

They won the treble two seasons prior. They were definitely one of the best sides in the world.

Fergie never created teams that blew everyone to pieces as long as you looked the other way from 1992-2013. I'd genuinely love to Pep take over someone like Spurs and see what he could do.

Martial is a good player and has good stats per 90 (0.74G&A per 90 this season), but his body is made of glass and his commitment is questionable so I'd be happy for him to move on at this stage. Although he's on a ridiculous £250k a week so will be very hard to shift.

We just going to pretend like Fergie never won two European trophies with Aberdeen? Aberdeen only won 4 league titles in their history and Fergie won 3 of them. Won their first in 25 years, and nobody has won the league except Rangers and Celtic since Fergie left. He also won the Premier League with Cleverly and Anderson in midfield. Pep couldn't do that IMO. Pep is class, but he has his ideas and if someone doesn't suit he turfs them out and uses the chequebook to replace them with someone top class. Fergie often had average players scattered around the first team but was able to get 100% out of them every week. Pep walked into a Barcelona side that had already won everything in the previous couple of seasons. Xavi, Iniesta and Messi were already established key players. He walked into a Bayern Munich side that had literally just won the quadruple under Heynckes. He walked into a City side that had already won everything domestically in the few seasons prior. Fergie walked into a Man United side that hadn't won the league in 20 years. I hope Pep is a man of his word and takes over Brescia to show us what he's really made of.

I don't at all. Your question was completely understandable. One of my best IRL friends is a long time poster. He recommended the forum because of the games section. Just went from there really. I'm on here more than I'm on any other website. I would say my stats are obscene.

Kid Icarus is just ubiquitous in every topic or post so tends to clash more than most. We tend to clash quite often then go through periods of being amicable but we're just very different. Quality poster at the same time and offers a lot to the board. Others are just ignorant and aggressive with any substance.
