We'll see how quickly both of these decisions are forgotten about whenever we get a dodgy decision in November. Two wrong decisions.
  3. Shame he didn't get them fired up two months before that in a game that mattered much more though.
  4. He's just not very good.
  5. Clear proof by the way that whether I post in here or not, you lads will continue to bump the thread even with random twitter posts about our 20 year old winger.
  6. From a neutral, he was very direct, always looking to take his man on but he was rarely if ever successful. Felt like there was quite a few misplaced passes when he was trying to play in behind. Dalot is a very good player so it's not the end of the world not getting the better of him. He still seems very raw. He's no Miggy.
  7. Is your Man United mate you by any chance? Dalot ate him alive. He was never troubled by him. He is very direct though, clear he'll be a decent player, but £35m still seems like a great sale to me.
  8. I was hoping this thread would get binned into the other 19 one, but apparently gdm needs his own personal thread to engage with MUFC infatuated Newcastle fans. Pretty pathetic really. And yes I realise I've just posted in here and no I won't be doing so again.
  9. I actually didn't hate that decision today. Brighton play out from the back and move the ball about in front of their keeper all the time. No player wins the ball more in the final third than Fernandes. Him and Mount did an excellent job of shutting down Brighton from playing out in the first half I thought. Found the Mount sub baffling when Rashford had been so bad. You could see how much energy we lost almost instantly.
  10. That's the two best sides in the league right there.
  11. Hasn't been loads to shout about for either team this game but if one thing is clear it's that Minteh could become the greatest Premier League winger of all time.
  12. You mean Rashford right? Can't wait until Maguire isn't an option at centre back anymore.
  13. Brighton 2-2 Man United Palace 1-1 West Ham Fulham 2-0 Leicester Man City 3-0 Ipswich Southampton 2-1 Forest Spurs 2-0 Everton Villa 1-1 Arsenal Bournemouth 1-1 Newcastle Wolves 0-1 Chelsea Liverpool 3-0 Brentford
  14. Arteta has spent £700m in five years and has one trophy to show for it and people want him in a tier with Pep?
  15. Seems to be our thing now. We've sold Greenwood, Kambwala, Fernandez and now Pellistri for lower than expected fees but have huge sell on clauses on them all and buy back options on all but Greenwood. Still think even with the clause that it's a criminally low fee for Pellistri. He's a full international and has appearances for the first team.
  16. I'm sure this will be of interest to many of you.
  17. PSG wants to cash in on Ugarte because he's limited going forward. We don't care about that. We need a midfield destroyer. We have Kobbie Mainoo and one of the most creative players in the world in Bruno Fernandes. We just need someone to offer enough protection to the back four and recycle the ball to one of those two. Ugarte fits the bill of what we need. McTominay isn't on the level of these guys. McTominay plus £15-20m to get Ugarte in would be hugely beneficial to us.
  18. We only have one defensive midfielder and it's Casemiro who's legs can't handle 60 games a season. We badly need depth there. We can't afford Ugarte as it stands and were reliant on this sale, otherwise Berge was the other option. Personal terms are agreed with Ugarte. As soon as the McTominay deal goes through I'd expect Ugarte to be confirmed a few days later.
  19. A McTominay sale means Ugarte is certain. It's pretty important for us if this goes through.
  20. Honestly would have been delighted with £25m for him, but after seeing Skipp go for £20m+5, £30m should be the minimum for McDominate.
