  1. @Kid Icarus@Vinny Green Balls
  2. Cunha has been absolutely class so far. Sesko very poor today when he came on. Just too slow. Looks like he'll be out for a while too.
  3. Aye Cunha had a poor game. Sesko also very poor when he came on and just far too slow with that chance but hopefully when he understands the league a bit better he'll get shots away quicker. Pretty unanimous with our groups that either Dorgu or De Ligt was our best player. Dorgu for me. Long way to go yet, and the upcoming games will be more of an indicator with how far we've come.
  4. We're not bad like. Played everyone in the top 8 now as well aside from Bournemouth.
  5. I'd have taken a point before the game but a bit disappointed with that. Spurs are bobbins.
  6. Would take him on a 2 month loan as AFCON cover.
  7. Spurs 2-1 Man United Everton 1-1 Fulham West Ham 2-1 Burnley Sunderland 0-2 Arsenal Chelsea 2-0 Wolves Villa 2-1 Bournemouth Brentford 2-2 Newcastle Palace 1-1 Brighton Forest 1-0 Leeds Man City 2-1 Liverpool
  8. I'll admit to hyperbole when saying half the forum, but there was a strong Howe out contingent. I pointed to the forum after the Chelsea game, but it was running a lot longer than that. It did of course change when he won the cup. Some people get their backs up when people suggest that Howe was under scrutiny and I'm not sure why but it's an undeniable fact and the evidence is all here in black and white. It's hardly some sort of attack from me as well, as I have always rated Howe very highly.
  9. Spurs had a really weird performance like this as home against Bournemouth too. Proper invisible performances where they did absolutely nothing at all.
  10. I will find it. It was after the Chelsea defeat. It was bad on here. I am probably being hypocritical as I see this forum as your fanbase but a lot of that stems from having met so many of you, and the vast majority have been level headed and sound.
  11. I'm putting the kids to be here but I'll dig out the post I made recently enough to show that Howe was wanted out by a huge amount of posters. The thread was like a civil war after a particularly poor run. If I'm to take the Elanga thread at face value as well, I wouldn't call it being supportive of him. Many have already given up on him. I just don't think it's a good idea to make judgement based on online forums or opinions. RedCafe in particular breeds negativity. It's horrific. There's a big difference in real life when people can't hide behind an avatar.
  12. Getting to the point here where I might have to admit that Arsenal are class.
  13. You never like when the negativity comes your direction. It's true though, and I've posted about this before and shared multiple pages of the thread to show bad it was. Can you imagine how you lot would be criticising Elanga if we had paid £55m for him and he was performing like this? It's just how online forums go isn't it?
  14. Isn't it great how the thread was dead for a few weeks? All it takes is an away draw to get the blood pumping. Can't wait for our next loss.
  15. Wouldnt say he isn't rated, but he doesn't suit the system like the others and Casemiro to Ugarte is a clear drop off. You can put this down to Ugarte being shit, or you can realise that Casemiro has been brilliant.
  16. I'm sure will Ronaldo will say his contacts in Manchester and his wife's family who are all season ticket holders. I'm going based on conversations I've had with people across multiple supporters clubs on match days. Last game I was at was Sunderland, just off the back of an awful result against Brentford and the support throughout the whole day was overwhelmingly positive for Amorim, but if you looked at RedCafe you'd think the entire fanbase hated him. We can try and pretend like half this forum didn't want Howe out if you want as well. Like 70% of it doesn't think Elanga is shit. Half of it probably thinks Woltemade is better than Isak now. Online fans are a different weapon entirely.
  17. Well is Newcastle Online a safe place for authentic Newcastle opinions? I'd say just ask me for authentic opinions and you'll be safe.
  18. I do think Hojlund has the ability to be a class striker. Still stand by that.
  19. Aye 100%. Seen a few lads laying into Amorim again and they're the same lads who were saying he'd turned it around last week.
  20. RedCafe is a shocking place. The same lads criticising him would have been praising him last few games. They'd have also been Amorim in, Amorim out, Amorim shake it all abouters too.
  21. He has absolutely brilliant feet. And his link up play is top class. He was poor enough second half today, but been excellent lately. He's very important to how the team plays.
  22. Don't know how many times I've told you lads to lay off the RedCafe.
  23. He's tidy as fuck. We love him. The goals will come.
  24. I'll take that result. Beat too often by Forest lately.
