No way. Gerrard has always been a better player than Lampard for me. I'd say they both have a better goal and assist rate than Scholes but most people would have had Scholes in their team before either of them. Goal and assist rates shouldn't be used to compare players. Peter Crouch has a better goal ratio for England than Shearer does for example.

I think it was pretty clear to everyone else than Scholes and Gerrard were the two best midfielders in England though. I don't really think Solskjaer has been hyped up. He was our reserve manager for a while then moved to Molde and won them their first ever league title, and retained it the following year. He's only really been linked with Villa since. I'm happy he turned that down.

I would take either, with Modric being first choice, though I doubt we would pay what you or Madrid would be looking for them. Same with Gundogan.
