I've been looking at the Christmas period beforehand. I said on here a few weeks ago that we had five games coming up which we should get 12 points from. Newcastle were included and if we were to lose one that's the one I thought it would be. I expect us to beat Hull and Norwich. If we do we should be within 6 or 7 points of top spot. I'm just happy to be picking up points.

Any of you think Newcastle can finished above Man United this year? Seriously, honest question.

You're right. clutching at straws would be more like it. I'm happy with any sort of win when your first choice central defenders are injured, your best midfielder is injured and your best striker is injured. Quite a young team on the pitch. The future is bright.
