Wrong about Rooney but spot on about the rest. Honestly thought Berbatov would have got a start.

De Gea rotated. Rotating your GK for a CL opener away against quite decent opposition is a big move, imho. Will rotate the midfield as well. I can see Rooney getting a rest as well. Berbatov and Giggs/Park will probably be in line for their first starts. Fergie likes those big moves anyway, like not buying a CM and shoving Tom Cleverley into the mix instead. Expecting a tight game regardless.

Will still be a win for Man Utd. Will probably go very big on it. Will wait for the line-up, though. I expect Rooney to play, I expect a good defence and I expect someone like either Berbatov or Owen wanting to show something. Well Vidic and Rafael are definitely out and I don't expect Ferdinand or Evra to play as they're all carrying knocks. Will be Jones, Smalling, Fabio and probably Evans but he picked up a hip injury at Bolton and isn't fully fit so the backline is a little stretched. Cleverley injured of course so straight swap for Carrick and Anderson might be rested for Fletcher. I'd expect Nani or Young to be rested for Park or Giggs. Fair chance Rooney is rested for Berbatov but I'm near certain Hernandez will play. Will be a tight enough game. That's what I'm expecting.

We're evens tonight against Benfica. A lot of people will jump on that I'd imagine. The team will be changed a lot. Chelsea on Sunday.

Had that and £15 on Chelsea as a single (which I'm sure you can work out has made me millions). I'm very sorry David - what can I say, I have a gift. I'm sure David can deal with that loss, but it would absolutely break me.
-
What 100 euro treble?
-
I think you're safe now David as long as Arsenal was DNB.
-
Barcelona vs. Milan on TV? I thought Sky would have had it.
-
Sean Derry ffs. Sounds and looks like a postman.
-
Didn't even know Barton was on the pitch. Says it all.

Good to see a few of you realising how shit Obertan is. He's one of the faster ones on the pitch and has a bundle of energy. If he put some effort in and helped out the midfield you wouldn't be getting so overrun at every opportunity. It's when not if QPR score as it stands.
-
Santon is a really good player. Can only assume Taylor is still there because of that free kick. Don't need him. Let him settle in slowly while we're playing easy 3 pointers like QPR.
-
Taarabt is a silky footballer. Enjoying this game so far but NUFC in big trouble if they don't sort it out in midfield. Ryan Taylor ahead of Santon in LB? Why?

Liverpool let me down. Needed an equaliser.

Me and Decky have nearly come to blows over this argument. Both unplayable on their day. World class players. Not really a whole lot else to say.

If you're interested: Newcastle @ 1/1 Liverpool @ 4/7 West Brom @ 1/1 Aston Villa @ 6/4 Those are DNB stakes.

I done: Arsenal Man City -2 Manchester United Newcastle DNB West Brom DNB Liverpool DNB Aston Villa DNB Real Madrid Barcelona. £5 returns £431.03. Fiver a week will do me from now on.

Oh ok. For a minute there I was gonna value his opinion but nevermind .
-
I don't think Lovenkrands is bad. EDIT: That is mainly based on his Championship season mind. His record isn't too bad it comes to goals. It's different with Macheda and Obertan though I know them very, very well.
-
He'll run all day for you. Has a good attitude towards the game. Is he actually any good though? Nope. a nice simple answer. Said before, I think he's a decent enough finisher, but offers very little else. Does well in pre-season, flops in the main games. I think Obertan is useless as well mind and he's made a promising enough start for NUFC so you never know. He will run around like a headless chicken though so could be useful to bring on if you want to hassle the opposition. In terms of changing games, no.
