Please don't talk about that award like it means something. I don't think Parker is as bad as people are making out but that award is a joke. Parker - Rooney - Gerrard - Ronaldo - Ronaldo - Henry - Lampard - Henry - Henry - Pires Not that much of a joke is it. Last year it was. I agree with Froggy that I don't think he's as bad as some are making out but he's not a player Spurs should be signing in order to progress. Parker was superb last season according to Hammers fans who watched him week in and week out. He's exactly the sort of player we need in order to progress and will be a key player for us imo. West Ham were fucking dire last season. He might have been a bit of a bright light in terms of their woeful play, but playing well for a side that got relegated doesn't mean you're good enough for a 5th/6th place side. Plus, Huddlestone and Sandro are better, and Livermore probably will be by the end of the season. Waste of money.

It's easy to pick the top scorer in the league, but when there's no stand out performer in the league they pick Scott Parker? Shows no initiative to me.

Spurs will beat both Liverpool and Arsenal. Are you on drugs? They won't be too far away.
-
Second youngest we've ever fielded apparently.

Koscielny is Bear Grylls.

AEK Athens @ 1/2 PSG @ 1/12 Tottenham @ 4/7 Roma @ 10/11 Athletic Bilbao @ 4/7 Celtic @ 8/15 Draw @ 11/5 Rosenborg @ 4/7 Partizan Belgrade @ 8/11 105-1. The draw is Rangers.
-
It hasn't been. Flashscores mistake.
-
I've a bet on tonight but PSG's game has been cancelled. What way does that work? Do they remove it from the slip or wait until it's played?
-
Aye I've bet on ten games at the weekend in a big accumulator and I've Liverpool to beat Arsenal.
-
I have: Bayern to nil. Leicester -1 Blackpool Millwall Villareal. Not looking good.
-
What do you reckon for both teams to score in the Supercup?
-
Literally no idea.
-
Should be saving them all De Gea Long.
-
Hard to judge this early as well though. Remember Chelsea's start last season?
-
Nani ffs.
-
Yup. Went with him ahead of Nani in my fantasy football team. Quite risky. Gets his deliveries in quicker though, so should hopefully reap benefits in this team. Also usurped Nani on free kicks, which is quite telling. Nani rarely takes free kicks unless they're really far out. Rooney has been the free kick taker and still will take plenty.

Sneijder was perfect but I never expected that to happen. Thought Nasri and Modric would have been perfect as well but it looks like City have Nasri wrapped up and Modric isn't available (with Stamford Bridge his location if he is). Schweinsteiger possibly? All going to cost a fortune.

Aye true enough. I just don't want Berbatov to leave either. He's bound to be thinking that if he can't get into the squad now, how will he when Hernandez is back.
-
It'll be Fletcher and Carrick like. Make no mistake, no disrespect to WBA, but if it was Chelsea or Arsenal, Cleverley nor Welbeck would have got the nod. EDIT: At this early stage, I don't like that btw. I'd prefer the strongest available lineup. Berbatov should be starting IMO.
-
If I was a betting man I'd be betting on Nani for FGS. He's going to go up another level IMO this year.
-
0-0. Sure why not?
-
Welbeck starts again for us. No Evra. Smalling at right back. Carrick dropped for Cleverley.
