  1. Areola making his debut in goal, otherwise it's the world cup winning team for the French.
  2. #Watford reject £125m offer for 36 per cent of the club from US media company; I think this is only a rumour but if true would value Watford at £347m, so maybe we are worth about 350-400m ?
  3. Exactly. Obviously Ashley is 95% to blame for all of this but Rafa was bleating on about having to filed a weak Telamon the cups and it's gonna be a long hard season etc etc. No reason not to play the best 11 last night and get through. I thought oxford was anone off but it has happened twice since then as well You really are the most tedious cunt on the internet, aren’t you? How many times do you have to repeat the same lines as articles of faith that are in fact contestable or even fallacious? “No reason not to play our best XI” is a lie you have repeated a dozen times or more. “Rafa is doing harm by seeing out his contract” is so many different kinds of bullshit it makes me puke. So, like, every casual guest on NO knows how you feel. Thanks for sharing. Can you give it a fucking rest now? There is no reason not to play the best 11 you idiot I agree 100%. What exactly are we saving our players for?
  4. At the beginning Rafa seemed able to improve most of the players we had and keep them motivated, now most of them are either regressing or certainly not improving anymore. Darlow, Yedlin, Dummett, Lascelles, Joselu, Perez , Diame, Ritchie have all hit their ceiling, players like Atsu, Murphy, Manquillo, Hayden and Kenedy have so far this season just becoming worse. The only player that has actually improved substantially is Shelvey especially commitment wise. Maybe there is just nothing more he can do with this group of players.
  5. We had one shot on target, we deserved to lose. The players were having a competition to see who could be the worst player on the pitch, I think Kenedy shaded it, but Schar, Muto, Atsu and Ki were very close.
  6. We are seriously shite, apart from maybe Fernandez there's not a decent performance for us on the pitch
  7. There is nothing to stop Rafa picking our strongest team and he has no excuse not to, as saving then for the City game will make no difference to the result at all. After that its the international break so plenty of time for a rest for most of our lot.
  8. Well that's obviously your opinion, but Trippier, Arnold, Azpilicueta imo were and are way better.
  9. Is a clause like this normal for managers? I cant say I've heard of it very often. Mind you very few managers actually walk out of clubs (apart from Pardew from us), they get sacked instead.
  10. It is pretty amazing if it is in fact true that Rafa signed a contract with such a severe penalty clause inserted if he decided to leave before the three year deal was up, especially knowing he was going to be working for a cunt as big as Ashley.
  11. I'm sure I'm not the first one to say it but Walker is a serious liability in a team as good as City. He's a good athlete shit footballer.
  12. He never tried to pass the ball in the first half so that's where his 0% completion rate came from. Rafa needs to have a word with him, he doesn't need to try and beat the opposition team by himself every time. He's not Messi and he's not HBA.
  13. Rafa needs a word with him about picking his moments to keep it simple and whatever the fuck he was trying to do today. Also Shelvey pretty hit every pass long whether he was under pressure or not, we never tried to construct the play at all.
  14. Shit game, shit team, shit penalty, we were lucky to get a point.
  15. Tony Green was an amazing player, I'm not sure I've seen anyone with his skill level playing for us, HBA would be the closest, then Gazza and Beardsley. Jimmy Smith was extremely talented too.
  16. Well that puts things into perspective a little bit.
  17. Hw will still be our player if the swap loan bit is correct so he can practice his goal scoring skills in the Championship with WBA this season and with us next season.
  18. Lots of people say they will be done with the club but what does that actually mean? I never go to matches as I live thousands of miles away, I don't buy replica shirts, I don't in any way financially support the fat man. However I've been a supporter for nearly 50 years, it's impossible not to be interested, concerned, anxious at what is happening. I can't support some other club, it just doesn't work like that and I can't just pretend that NUFC doesn't exist and ignore it however much sense it would make to do so. I'm a supporter in my own way as we all are, and it's a life sentence in this case with very little chance of parole and a near on certainty that the fat man hasn't finished with the rogering he's been dishing out for the last ten years.
  19. I doubt it. It is pretty bizarre that he's not kicking up more off a fuss about the lack of money spent, maybe that will come later. Does he still have the reported 6m penalty in his contract if he leaves early?
  20. Watched it in Antibes, deathly quiet compared with the racket the frogs made after they won last night.

    England

People keep saying this and whilst there's an element of truth to it, those teams weren't good enough to get this far. Two weren't even good enough to make the finals. That's not our fault, and it's not luck either. The teams you mention are/were littered with some of the greatest players of the modern era and they're in need of a revolution. They need young players, fresh blood to replace those older players that have been amazing for their countries over the last decade. We're already at that point. I don't get this, which young players are you talking about. Not Stones I hope who switched off for their winner, not Alli or Lingard who were abysmal, certainly not Rashford who did absolutely nothing. We possibly have one really good player and Kane was crap the last couple of games.
