I'm not sure that not being fully behind Rafa should be regarded as madness or a crime by some on here. How about the dull tepid boring defensive football we play. I feel sorry for him in that he's been royally shafted by Ashley since he arrived (whoever saw that coming) but can you honestly say he's getting the maximum out of our players?

Was a 7 now an 8. I think the only way we stay up is with at least a 60m spend in January and then only if we buy the right players, i.e. no more Murphy's, Ritchie's, Muto's etc. We need some serious quality and somebody to score some goals and it won't be cheap.

Rafa's teams are generally defensive, dull, boring and tactical, this seasons current version has no redeeming qualities at all, unless not getting hammered is to be lauded. We all watch football to be entertained surely, if not why?

I think they are a better side in general, tbh. NUFC have a far better manager and Lascelles is better than any of their defenders, but that is it. I watched the match yesterday, and the combination of Vardy, Maddison, Iheanacho, and Gray were all very quick, and sharp and difficult to deal with, the opposite of NUFC's attack this season. Gray and Vardy were great value, but are both England internationals and Kelechi and Maddison are 21 years olds that cost fifty million pounds between them. There is a difference in quality going forward, at least. The key will be to take the chances presented, so Rondon, Joselu, Perez, etc. will need to step up. Their defence is very leaky and slow, and they are their to be countered, especially if you can bypass the two midfielders with balls down the side of the centrebacks, who cannot run. None of their fullbacks can defend at all. There will goals in this game, imo. 2-2. Sorry but nobody thinks that Lascelles is better than Maguire, apart from you and the most biased NUFC supporter.

I don't suggest that anybody concentrates on the football, as we are the dullest, most boring team in the division and have been for a while.

Rashford's goal scoring record for England is way ahead of Sterling in a lot less games.

Dier replacing Henderson is definitely not an improvement.

Sterling would replace Rashford, not sure that's much of an improvement.

I don't think Sterling or Walker would improve the team, Walker definitely not. I've no idea who can replace Henderson in the role he plays but there must be someone.

Apart from Henderson this is pretty much the best England have to offer, and it's really at this level not good enough.
