  1. Tonali is currently on parity with Bruno’s current contract. All our top earners currently on £120-125kpw it seems.
  2. They aren’t struggling at all. They will all go. You’ve just to get use to the new system feeding those at the bottom of the chain directly rather than indirectly via a fan with lots of points. Theyll all be gone within a few days I predict.
  3. Judging off the experience of normal tickets who’ve struggled to operate the scanners the junior stewards have a look… try… get it to work or fail… try again… then regardless just let you in because of queues building up ?
  4. It’s possibly to stop people buying them to resell then on the off chance they can’t make a profit on them and try to return to the club without any cost to themselves perhaps. Lets be honest the sales are that close to games the dates are confirmed so not sure why people who buying them are suddenly realising a day later they can’t go. I agree the club has got a couple of things wrong this summer with regards to tickets but not massively convinced this is one of them. Can @Infatuation Junkienot take them off your hands somehow?
  5. Yeah I appreciate the availability is much lower than last year but still possible. The system is still the same though so to say you get no chance is misleading hence why I questioned it. Just a case of grabbing what you can unfortunately. Some games both of you and some games (maybe midweek) just for yourself.
  6. Really? I thought the resale was basically the same system as last season where you queue and grab whatever tickets are remaining so in your case one adult one child as close together as possible?
  7. This might help but short answer is yes as long as done swiftly.
  8. This forum revealed that weeks ago! No better place for all your NUFC info ?
  9. No experience of 3rd party site but as for on the day like others have said there are little to no ID checks just before KO. That might be different if you try to enter the ground over an hour before KO when queues aren’t forming and the rush to get people in not as great. So as long as you are the correct sex and approximate age for the ticket in hand and enter ground within 30mins of KO I wouldn’t foresee any issues.
  10. Trainers will suffice of any kind if not. Games are good clean fun.
  11. That’s all it ever was going to be. I think the disappointment if any is because of the way the season turned out it could’ve been something completely different but it was never going to be.
  12. Well this is looking like one of our biggest turn outs and a few new faces also. Bravo @Yorkiefor getting the word around ? As it stands we are looking at around 25 players and 21 for the meal! So will be booking tables before our next game. Can players start sending their £7 to me please ASAP and use their forum name as payment reference so I know who has paid. I will let you know if I need anything up front further regards to table deposits as might be required with such a large booking. Those who don’t have my usual bank details or need to check PM (if not in the N-O WhatsApp) me for them or for any other information ??
  13. Currently only about 7-10 days before game but hopefully that will improve. However finding out your successful is literally the week of the game sometimes the day before with resales etc. Applying via International hopefully gives you a slightly higher chance if that’s what they are encouraging but who knows.
  14. As much as it’s clearly amateurish doing seemingly live testing of the ballots etc there’s absolutely no need to be first in the queue. You’ll have 3 days to click a couple of buttons once word gets around. Some people just need to chill a little ?
  15. I would guess that’s more of an IT issue but I’ll stand corrected obviously if not. I just know at point of purchase I’m notified I’ve gained one. I guess it’s set up so it’s added if fixture goes ahead rather than you attend for refund purposes etc.
  16. Nope that’s never been the case. When you purchase an away ticket your receipt confirms loyalty point gained.
  17. Watching this yesterday reminded me of when I was at Villa Park last season. Felt like almost identical tactics and team shape completely undone us for large parts of the game. Us having occasional moments at 0-0 and 1-0 that might of turned the game slightly but when going to 2-0 on both occasions we just got worse and more headless and players looking lost and turning heads at each other. Scoreline aside it was very similar to our game here last season. All you can do is hope the coaching staff learn from these games. Let’s stay positive. We are a point and a couple of goals at most worse off than we were last season. We’ve two weeks to get Botman fit and a faster LB in the team and organise this midfield of ours which as fragile as it looks at times only looks worse without Tonali so subbing him probably isn’t the answer despite that seemingly being the preferred option by the coaching staff. I’m guessing it’s sleepless nights with a new born rather than contract negotiations (which I suspect will be announced very soon when all windows are closed) that’s causing Bruno to play as though he’s sleepwalking so not too hopeful of any improvement on that front for at least few more months and if the rumours are true his wife is expecting a second maybe even longer ? Would be nice to see our lineup against Brentford include HALL (LB) and for a spell of minutes at least (20-30) Livramento maybe in place of Miggy to get him some minutes even if not quite in his traditional position.
  18. If there’s one thing I’ve learned as I approach one month short of following NUFC for 40 years is never get too high when things are going well but make sure you do enjoy those times as much as you can and never get too low when going through a bad spell. This is just the second full season of hopefully the biggest rebirth of our or any football club has witnessed. Try and enjoy it and don’t get too low about the bumps in the road along the way.
  19. Absolutely no one I know who goes to the match with me or I speak to regularly on and away from here think we are an elite team. No one. So not sure where you get “most of us” from but it sounds like you are including yourself. Let me break it to you gently. We are not and never have been an elite team. We are a good team and occasionally we can be very good which we proved 22/23. This however is the very beginnings of a new phase so we don’t know what we are yet 23/24 but hopefully time will show we have progressed. As it stands we haven’t. Let’s see where we are come January.
  20. Well they are idiots and anyone who takes any credence in their views are idiots too. So work back from there and you shouldn’t have a problem going forward assessing the current team.
  21. Who thinks we are an elite team?
  22. I think it’s quite obvious that there’s been a cock up at the clubs end. The empty seats all being together suggests they are from a single transaction or allocation thereabouts. Seems a stretch to think that a dozen or more people who have bought not to use were all just happening to be sat together surely. Probably the batch for corporate boxes and they thought it was too much hassle in the end.
  23. 1 point worse off than last season. Let’s see where we are come the New Year.
