Is it not worth it just to sell for a fee instead losing for a free? What would you say is low?
-
Yep. Exactly my thoughts. Let’s build whilst being able to maintaining 52k during the construction elsewhere .
-
Yep i believe that is correct. Hence there is some risk attached to not buying from official site. If i ever needed to for someone i would advise them to be in the ground when turnstiles open

They can build what I’d imagine they want on Leazes Park as per article. Would still class that as city Centre.

Article doesn’t suggest that though.

Interesting article on Kane. Such a tricky one to judge. I still feel he’s on the wain and Spurs sold him at the perfect time. Others disagree and point to him still scoring boat loads of goals and should still be Englands No.9. https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2024/10/01/bild-accuses-harry-kane-of-going-missing-in-big-games/

That and two footed which is ideal in a winger. Smart money would be Liverpool going for him to replace MS.

Yeah a friend had to do once and had no issues.

Will get one also if available. Question. If I’m a male team ST holder does that put me in the same category as Mags Member or just general sale?

Still quite measured in the manner. Clearly wasn’t happy though.

Let’s hope Botman returns to go on to be a better player than when we signed him. He was doing so well until that injury. Club way too respectful of his wishes. Should’ve had surgery straight away. Not sure that’s even hindsight talking either.

Morgan Rogers is a Villa fan is he not? He’s certainly from the area.

I understand yours too. However I’m just mindful of wholesale changes or no regulars on the bench. We aren’t good enough for that yet. It helps we are at home now so I think that might sway 1-2 extra changes but ultimately we’ve got to win THIS game. No ET so straight to a lottery after 90mins. Let’s win the game and bring players off if need be. There’s no game for two weeks after Everton. It’s not as if we are in any sort of playing form. Man City display aside we’ve been well below par. Especially in an attacking sense. We know Isak won’t be available also. Wimbledon have lost only 1 in 7 games. Winning 5 plus 1 win on Pens against Ipswich. They may be 3 leagues below us but they are in form. Same as Sheff Wed were who everyone seemed to forget about at the time when they thought we’d swat them aside with 5 changes. We also have the knowledge we have a home tie next round. Win that also and things get really interesting. Especially with a bit of luck.

Makes clubs less trigger happy and stops disruption of other clubs seasons. Actually think it’s already a rule in some major leagues. La Liga and Serie A possibly?
-
Yes but that just spoils another team’s season along with their fans. A squad should be locked before season starts then you manage it. Then judge yourself at end of season. If you get 4 GK injuries you play your 5th or outfield player who fancies himself as one. You don’t go plundering other teams first choice GKs. If you sack a manager you can’t replace him with an employed one during the season would be another change I’d make.

I think this is the only debate. The margin of improvement he’d be to the side. Knowing Brentford have lost Toney and his replacement still out injured (I think?) and Wissa recently injured and notoriously good sellers you’ve got to ask yourself is there bigger upgrades for less money elsewhere.

This. Im a fan of Mbuemo and could see the logic and how his style would fit along with his work ethos. Then I started to think would we really of advanced the position that much for such a huge fee. It would’ve took a lot of money to improve the RW marginally with Mbuemo rather than what would feel like a giant leap when we tried at least to tempt Olise for what would’ve been a similar fee. So without turning my nose up at him I definitely changed my thinking on him. Especially when our budget is so tight.
