Obviously all just reported figures but we pulled out at £40-45m last summer. Spurs being interested means Leicester will be hopeful of getting close to their asking price to cover the 15% sell on clause but if either of us drop out then the price could drop as low as £25-30m easily. As cheeky as it was Levy knows what he’s doing with the dual bid approach. Depends on how desperate the sellers are and how big the market is for what you are selling along with contract situation and current wages. I think Chelsea to name but a few massively overpaying has really distorted how much you and others value what players are worth recently. This time last year a few would probably of thought these prices might be on the high side. Also you never go in with your highest bid regardless.

Is the thinking you could jump a ST waiting list/none available by getting a more expensive hospitality ticket then when that goes up like a normal ST then getting a general seat converted to a standard ST has kind of been a workaround? Obviously not saying you’ve done this or some of the circumstances even existed but now that we have no STs available is that how they are maybe seeing it? How long you had the hospitality ST?

If they can’t get the fee they want/need then he’s their player. He’s not playing for free and he’s the option of a longer contract. They’ve made him a multimillionaire already. They could be in dire trouble if they don’t come straight back up as they are in a sticky spot already. A football club and all its staff surely fair priority to a single footballer surely?
