Just restart season 2021 the very week it stopped in 2020 and just don’t have a 20/21 season would make the most sense. Would be funny if they just voided the 19/20 season though

What does that mean?

The logic was pretty simple to understand and sensible. It was to stop the season starting whilst players were refusing to play to get moves or feigning injury etc. Clubs have months to buy who they want. Personally think there should be no January transfer window and the manager you start the season with you retain until season ends. It would only have been logical if the rest of Europe dropped everything just to fall in line with the Premier League. Given most leagues are up and running late August, end of August is the sensible date. Move our season back a few weeks then. Window needs to be shut before the season starts.

I’d agree 100% but “winning” basically means collapsing under any contact at all and falling over the ball and relying on the ref to give a foul. Contact doesn’t equal a foul. To be honest Grealish et al aren’t to blame, it’s the spineless refs that blow every single time it happens that are to blame. Just fucking play on. Minimal contact and you’ve fallen over and lost possession? Tough shit, play on and get up. You’ve not been fouled, the defender has made contact with your shoulder. It’s not a foul, get on with it. I’ve used Grealish as an example tonight but it happens every game. Agree 100%. One of my pet hates. That and the type of challenge that saw Vardy get booked tonight when in reality the defender actually kicks him to make contact and Vardy’s not made contact at all.
