  1. mcgrath was quick? i was a bit young for early mcgrath but always thought of him having great positioning rather than pace (not that they're mutually exclusive i suppose) largely due to his f***ed knees Man U and early Villa McGrath was rapid. I haven't seen many better defenders in my time. Lawrenson was another who could motor. And Kevin Ratcliffe at Everton Agree with McGrath and Ratcliffe. Lawrenson not so much but had this great knack of when it looked like someone was away from him he could slide and his leg seemed to extend an extra foot to reach the ball!
  2. We did the same for Nottingham Forest in December, covering every possibility over the weekend. Of course it got moved to the Friday night slot Covered for the Friday night as that's the one I originally feared but noticed Sky put an odd Sunday noon game on from time to time even though they've 2 premiership games already picked that Sunday.
  3. Great game so far but always wonder why you wouldn't have some sit on Busquets. He's class but if you can get round him quick it's always caused Barca problems throughout history.
  4. You said it's 'free and up in the air' and Sterling's is neither It is when the motion continues. All that still shows is the two feet together which is always misleading on these incidents either way. Watching it in realtime it's clearer. It's definitely not as stonewall as they come which I said from the outset
  5. Defenders foot is planted and Sterlings foot is on its way up like I said?
  6. It's a clear penalty I think As stonewall as they come. It wasn't. He stands on his foot This. Which foot? His right foot But it's free and up in the air? Contact doesn't equal penalty. It needs to impede and he didn't. He felt a touch and went looking for a penalty.

  8. It's a clear penalty I think As stonewall as they come. It wasn't. He stands on his foot He didn't he just brushed his foot. It certainly isn't as stonewall as they come

  10. They'll be happy now though ironically probably the only decision he's got wrong
  11. Napoli very easy on the eye tonight.
  12. 6 of us all booked for Brentford. Every possibility covered except Noon Sunday KO... I can see it happening now
  13. He (Icardi) also partially to blame for some of the mess also.
  14. I'd imagine he'll get a full game against Cardiff with Ritchie being suspended.
  15. Because he has relatives who work at Sky and they go easy on him as he in return gives them lots of access. if that were true it doesn't explain the rest of the media... It is true. When Sky/Murdoch owns most of the mainstream media it doesn't really matter. Sky/Talksport/Sun & more and that's the agenda sorted.

  17. Anyone know when the next points drop is for Leeds and to how many?

    Matz Sels

Was a bit worried the idiotic crys from the crowd for him to shoot would be mistaken by him as boos as it happened the few times he touched the ball first half.
  19. No away games have went to membership yet. Apparently they will and apparently some will go to public sale, but non so far and no prospect of it happening soon. This is wrong info.
  20. The problem with the penalty struggle is it puts unnecessary pressure on the penalty taker. Fortunately the game was fairly comfortable and the taker converted the penalty. It's when the circumstances are different it becomes a problem (see Lamella/Spurs) so those advocating it's not a problem at all are being a little short sighted.
  21. How? It was embarrassing. He was literally begging Looked like he was crying from where we are sat. Great second goal from him mind.
