  2. Agree. What is the thinking behind it?
  3. Now nonsense isn't new to me I know my head, I know my feet But mischief knocked me in the knees Said, "just let go, just let go" Let’s hope at the end of all this we don’t get a raw deal
  4. Michael Owen saying Sarri has been average at his last two jobs
  5. This your gut feeling or have you been cooking for your lass again to get more info from GC? The latter. They've already prepped an appeal for the worst case scenario. We'll find out either way by next week. Let’s hope so otherwise she’ll end up the size of a bus Thanks for the update. Hope you are doing well. She seems like a keeper

  7. He’s a Sunderland fan. Once you are aware of that then make your own judgement calls on anything he has to say. Good or bad.
  8. thing that can't be ignored is the piracy stuff as its perceived as a threat to future tv income from the MENA region for all 20 clubs they can't just ignore it and wave it through as they'll have 19 other clubs, bein and hell probably a few other rights holders hammering at their door wondering what the fuck they're playing at on one hand taking various efforts to stop the piracy and getting nowhere and on the other just letting the crowd who have been letting the piracy happen just waltz in. Saudi Arabia has shown 0 signs of doing anything to think they're going to crack down on it and indeed seem to be doing the exact opposite by appealing the WTO judgement and banning bein Not sure why you quoted my post unless you’ve missed the point of it. Particularly the later half of it.
  9. O&D test should only concern the individual club. In short can they fund it and provide a plan that safeguards the club. What EPL are doing in reality is protecting its other 19 members. The issue is with football you have promotion and relegation so in my eyes what they are doing isn’t fair as it’s not in the interests of NUFC right now as we are in their division. The fact we could go down and it would sail through then we get promoted and promotion can’t be blocked (as far as I’m aware) makes a mockery of it all.
  10. Has anyone asked them to? As in Tweeted them direct or emailed their management companies. Or do do you think they check on here regularly or the NUFC #
  11. I can't remember this very well, but I imagine it was a poor attempt at joke? What was the context? I can't actually remember why you asked it, I just went up to the bar with you and you just asked the barman about drugs. Fuck knows what I was going about, I didn't even try weed until I was 33 Anyway, I'm glad I gave a good impression Was hilarious man. Great afternoon that. Was the Crows Nest. Used to be Bar Oz. Brownie points for those who remember it’s name before that
  12. 18 sounds high? transfermarkt say he got 22 overall for us in the PL across his 4 seasons. He certainly got more that 22. Obviously only have my ever diminishing memory to back it up but I’d say that was very low. Mind you I was not just talking about the EPL.
  13. I remember that season fairly well still home & away. Seem to recall he either scored or assisted in the first 14 games or more almost. One of my favourite seasons for sure.
  14. C’mon. Hit me up with them
  15. He's a weapons-grade cunt: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kelvin_MacKenzie Read up to the bit where he worked for the Sun then backed out of his wiki. Anybody who worked or works for that is instantly a cunt in my eyes Alan Shearer had a column with them Still might actually.
  16. Is it considering we only got 6 good month out of him? He was always more style over substance though I accept he was heavily marked when in days you could “mark“ someone. I’d wager a bet (And I’ve not checked) that Robert’s goals and assists blow Ginola’s stats away.
  17. Most the fans on Twitter wouldn’t even know who he is GC treading a strange morality ground there baring in mind he theoretically agrees with him considering which side he’s been backing. Don’t understood this modern thinking of not being allowed to agree with some things people say that in the past you don’t. Makes you very small minded IMO. Yes he’s had an odious and probably still is. However if you agree with what he says and want to retweet it or post it fair play. I noted journalists coming up with the excuse that a retweet is not necessarily an endorsement when it suites them.
  18. Or they could all work together, egos aside. It's not all about one group amalgamating and becoming the biggest/only voice. They could and they should but more @ = more egos unfortunately. Easier to co-ordinate stuff and deploy different action to suitable skill sets as a singular. Ultimately as long as they keep going and trying anything with the best intentions wether it be as one group or not is the main thing. Look what one guy off his own back can achieve today. Wether it just a little bit of traction it’s still important. Greg[/member] Out of interest did Toon For Change consult NUST before sending their letter today to Masters?
  19. Yep. Notice how I didn’t point out the “most important” @ they didn’t tag
  20. All those @ would be much stronger as just one @
  21. So it was more important to get numbers (and peoiples money) that to be honest with them about the Trusts intentions going forward? Looked that way at the time, and to see it confirmed is no surprise. Nope. We've been open and honest about the need to build the membership from day 1. The Trust doesn't run on magic beans and I can assure you if it was about money it would cost a lot more than £1 for a share and £1 a year for annual membership. We reduced the price so low because it's not about money - it's about making the Trust open and accessible to all. The money is safe - it's in the accounts - which get audited and filed as they have to. We've spent a little bit this last year or so but not much - on the work to fight the Strawberry Place developments for example but there's our finances are healthy, and safe, ready for when we need money to do things - like for example........now! Thanks for the response - my comments came from the reason I haven't joined, which was due to the fact the Trust gained lots of members at times of mass disillusionment, but is there to advocate on behalf of match-going fans, of which I feel there should be none. I hope the Trust can take a slightly more militant tone going forward. I'll watch developments with an eye open. Why watch others? Why not do something. Wether militant or not.
  22. I’ll give you the £1 to join if that’s the problem. I was happy to outline the reasons yesterday on this very thread why I've not rejoined the trust. Idiot. Feel free to. No one is going to charge you for doing so. Though server donations always welcome. Eh? I did! So no different then
