  1. I’ve got a spare BT match pass you could register if stuck.
  2. Don’t think he senses danger quick enough to be a DM. Would of made a great sweeper in the 70’s/80’s
  3. £6m in intermediaries. Football is disgusting isn’t it?
  4. Quicker they changed the offside law for VAR the better.
  5. This. Club have took up the extra year but for how much they pay him in wages they seem to be in a typically lose lose scenario.
  6. Vardy unfit are the first signs of his legs finally going?
  7. Hopefully not as not a penalty IMO. VAR says it is though. Justice done with the save. You don't think that was a pen? As blatant as they come. Brighton? No. Brighton player just kicks into the Leicester player then falls down. No foul whatsoever from the angles I’ve seen. If anything you could’ve give it for modern day handball perhaps as that was possibly in the box by the defender but I didn’t look that closely to that on the replay. Other than that it was just two players tussling for the ball. Didn’t see the Luiz one. Off to Barnard Castle you go... Just watched it again. Definitely not a penalty. Brighton player kicks the Leicester player and that throws him falling as he’s tussling and puts his foot down which the Brighton player stands on top of and then just buckles his knees and falls to floor.

  9. If or should I say when it goes through this week or next it’s worked out well all round really. 1. It’s cost Ashley more money than he planned to spend. 2. It’s kept us all with something to talk about through lockdown. 3. You’ll actually be able to celebrate it with friends & family. Maybe in a pub if they can drag it out a bit longer 4. Might still be in the final stages of the FA Cup too

  11. No fee so been worse signings for that money. Not many though.
  12. Not seen much of him so will be good to see how he turns out. Looked nothing special in a major tournament for Germany but he was very young and wasn’t a great tournament for Germany as a whole. Certainly will help being in such an attacking team.
  13. No doubt about it. It's more of a problem than many people realize. Well... apart from those in power who’ve tapped into it for the last decade or more
  14. This - I used to have loads of pirated music but haven’t downloaded anything dodgy in years as Spotify feels like good value and covers pretty much everything I listen to. Football costs a fortune and being split across a number of providers inevitably means there are plenty of games I don’t have a access to (even after paying all that money). Spotify gives the square root of fuck all to the artists Perhaps it means the most popular artists earn less. At the same time it allows for much lower barriers of entry for starting bands and artists, less reliance on agents (record companies) and arguably a healthier marketplace for music. The analogy works quite well with football come to think of it. Don't agree with this....the best will always earn millions one way or another. I personally think Ed Sheeran is garbage, and Adele couldn't sing her way past the first round of x-factor, but enough people disagree with that opinion that they are sitting in houses worth millions, and I'm almost certain they sit and dry their tears over my opinion with £50notes every night Yeah. I’m sure I’ve seen plenty of artists come out and say that singers are now required to do more tours if they wish to make money anymore. I think a lot of them have recouped revenue through the increase in popularity of vinyl, and other merchandise though. However they have said that they now have to work more for their money rather than spending a few weeks every couple of years in a recording studio.l like they used to be able to do. Artists Always say they make no money from record sales, downloads, streaming services and touring, all this from their 3rd mansion in the hills after a long day flying on their private jet. I’m not saying I agree with them. All I’m saying is that they now say they have to work harder for the same level of income. Garth Brooks is the highest selling solo artist in US history. For a long time he refused to sign with a streaming service, the reason being was because they don’t offer enough to him for his music and he doesn’t want to cannibalise his album sales with people playing his music on a streaming platform where he would make a lot less. He eventually signed for Amazon for a deal better than what Amazon offer to other artists, but to get that deal he had to agree to exclusivity. On top of that the vast majority of his listeners are unlikely to have an Amazon account or use their streaming service, so therefor he will still likely retain a large percentage of his album sales. Tidal was created by music artists and is one of the highest paying streaming providers, they created it because they were tired of the lower offers from existing streaming platforms. Anyone wanting to know how little artists get paid from streaming I’d recommend checking out the #brokenrecord on Twitter by Tom Gray from Gomez. Really highlights how much the record companies get as opposed to the artists. It could be argued football’s problem is actual the reverse with too much going to the players instead of clubs but that ultimately could be controlled. Either way it shows there is far too much money in the game so nothing stopping the TV rights dropping severely in price to therefore allow subscriptions to drop severely and therefore routing out piracy.
  15. Grealish reminds me of Rui Costa. Carries the ball nicely and relieves the pressure at times but not a lot else including end product. Style over substance.
  16. Same agent for both deals so I’m sure you are smart enough to work out what really went on.
  17. Got a bit of a look of ManDoon[/member] about him with the hair.
  18. They are just sponsors, you can't see anything else. Probably the closest the fans have been to the pitch in the last 3 seasons
  19. Funnily enough I was thinking that yesterday and was going to ask on here mathematically what would be the soonest we could find ourselves safe etc.
  20. If I can I will but looking like last night for my Mam (15wks longer than meant to be!) at mine so will probably not and spend it all with her
  21. He can do better than Arsenal in their current state Such a ridiculous comment. He's an 18 year old kid that they've just given a chance in the team this season, and he's too good for them already huh?! Really irritating these type of comments. I agree. Problem is it doesn’t take long for the player (and agent) to start believing them too.
  22. As I remember it he built clout, a bit like the two lawyers, by claiming to understand middle-eastern culture and hearing things 'in the region'. It's no great surprise. Twitter is full of people wanting to feel important. I admire anyone who's avoided such bullshit. Wasn’t he involved in trying to get people to buy the club? Maybe at NUST level before he moved abroad.
