Agreed. Probably equates to around £2.5m a season which is a decent chunk of money. He'll have Sports Direct stores that barely turn over that amount in a year. The worry I have about Thauvin form can never recover... What seems like a loss of pace. Clutching at straws that it's down to fitness but worrying when you see a player running back and they can see a player getting away from them that they revert to dropping their head as if it might give them a bit more speed. I notice Charlie Austin does this a lot also. I even do it now! Would suggest they are not as quick as they rembered being which is worrying at his age.

Might be worth seeing how he looks against someone other than Man U or Chelsea before deciding he's no goal threat. I agree he's played against two good teams. Time will tell. Disagree. Abolish the loan system and restrict squad and playing staff and subs bench. This would solve it in an instant as player quality would be forcibly spread amongst the league. All these players on loan and on these benches would be plying their trade elsewhere under contract. It's a very simple fix but the turkeys rarely vote for Christmas.
