I don’t know neither of them It’s a no for me for Mbuemo and Guehi. Just feel spending that extravagantly will just lead us back to where we are now in a few years. Especially due to their wage demands. Nothing particularly critical of the players individually. Mbuemo I’ve talked about and been a fan of for years since he joined Brentford but ultimately that is when we should’ve been buying him. Guehi I’m more doubtful of but fully understand and respect our current scouting team when judging him. I’ve just not been impressed the handful of games I’ve seen him play.

Our recent windows have freed up money for a few decent fees but for the established players that elevate instantly there will always be issues competing with wages for the foreseeable future. We’d need to make top 5 year in out for a while which will be difficult.

If it’s any crumb of comfort we might have a few more Sunday games with being in Europe. Not loads though with it being UCL.

Tricky one in your situation. Personally I’ve sacrificed career and salary my entire life so I’m never in a position where I can’t go to a game when I want to. You might actually be better off paying more for the Mags+ and for the extra £10 I believe you get better/more regular discount of merchandise I think so over the 12 months you’d claw it back at least if your into your NUFC clothing etc. Until capacity increases I can’t see any other benefit for you if only applying a couple of times a year as your chances are slim even having 19 attempts. There’s a membership discussion/workshop in the next few weeks involving fans similar to yourself feeling underwhelmed so hopefully some positive change might happen in time for 25/26. It be nice if even a dozen away tickets were put in a members ballot even. If they improve the identification process for members. The club is trying to grow its domestic and international fan clubs so I wouldn’t get hung up on seeing a few Italian fans at a game together as a negative.
