He’s quite a good player actually. Always a stand out when I watch Everton and seems to have a diligent attitude.
-
That’s how it was sold to the fans but no sign of things returning to the way they were on neutral grounds.
-
Was that using only one queue position though?
-
It was revealed the other week it was both finishing position and minimum amount of squad inclusions.

One of the main things I’ve always had against Gallagher is he’s currently playing and captaining his home club. The one and only thing he’s wanted to do in his footballing career if you follow his story. If he moved to us I’d automatically feel we’d be getting a lesser player. The fact that some of the qualities you’d lose are actually the ones making him currently stand out at all to me spells danger. Think of it this way. Does Longstaff play at any other club as well as he has at ours? Look at the effect it’s had on Burn going the opposite direction. Just a player that for me you just leave happily playing for Chelsea. Certainly not one you even think of blowing half your expected budget on.

I don’t agree with you except for a small handful of games midweek initially. The last seats you’d sell would be the highest and you wouldn’t even see that on TV and the stewarding I wouldn’t see needed to be increased but even if so there nights work would be covered by the sale of one maybe two match tickets. Go into the membership or ticket sections and read how much people on here alone are missing out and this is a team that’s been mid-table most of the season with most of its best players missing for long periods. As I keep repeating. 32-35K ST holders. 75-90K memberships = Over 100k home seats alone on the safe side potentially and we are still in phase one. Even if you downplay the figures further what’s the point in building a once in a lifetime state of the art stadium to only sell it out first game allowing the club no room to grow further again? If Sam Fender can sell 2x50k over a weekend surely he could sell 1x80k for a one night only. Imagine holding the Champions League Final. After corporate sponsorship allocation and local allocation 65K wouldn’t leave much left for two major teams. Need to stop thinking about Bournemouth on a Tuesday night and start thinking about what the whole point of a new stadium is and that is to grow the club into the No.1 spot.

Not read the story but going off the thumbnail 60K is nowhere near enough. Ticket prices will get silly.

Now the last ballot for this season has been drawn it be nice for everyone to give a simple success/attempts ratio from it (not re-sale but comments on that obviously welcome). If you remember at the start of the season I did a calculation going off rough numbers of STs, seats available, memberships etc and thought everyone should get around 4-5/19 league games. Just curious how far off I was. Seems like @SUPERTOONhas had great success and would be interested to know further details (Do you live local or out the area, Categories you generally applied for etc).

So Arsenal have knocked Tottenham out of next season's Champions League by losing to Harry Kane and Eric Dier and City couldn't handle 5 penalties...imagine if they faced 115. Hopefully City win the cup and therefore not too much of an effect on us?
-
No need to apologise. Was a good answer. Would you not like to see others be able to go though that can’t?
-
Do you go to the games regularly?

Extras needed at SJP for a E-Racing promo if anyone reading this and wants to get along from 12ish for shooting anytime up until 6pm today as short of numbers. Isak Gordon and either Tripps or Pope for this section if that entices anyone! Check in at Milburn Reception.

Good to see that the latest lever Barcelona pulled was for the UCL trapdoor… On a side note that ground holds little fear for opposition compared to the Nou Camp. They’ll be desperate to get back into it.

If we sold for argument sake Wilson & Almiron for a total of approximately £30m. What does that then allow us to spend this coming season?
-
The journalists have clearly been briefed this week. What do we all think the reasons are for that? What story are the club suppressing that the press have hold of? Or is it just to distract slightly from ticket price hikes?

Man Utd discussions starting. We can’t afford to be left behind… https://www.manutd.com/en/news/detail/lord-sebastian-coe-provides-update-on-old-trafford-stadium-redevelopment-task-force-16-april-2024?fbclid=IwAR1KRUvFXqXhJpu5k7liP5uVU8ZqYBLOT-swwzirOZrJdw0bjG42LFYHpPg_aem_AcjJ_Zhl5Pz2lSeOC64rj35mZTRXfNkl8qg5W91-TwDA7uiwH0tnjO-sbtixD46MAl8

Still a good percentage. I counted 5 for the season which is what I was referring to.
-
So has Isak TBF.

Heard that on a podcast. That and the pre-game press conference comments on player availability and in the warm up when a back four was lined up for the usual defence line/heading practice shows we are definitely becoming much cuter with team lineups.

I see they’ve arrested four people connected to the break-in at his property… From the BBC, Monday: Four people have been charged in connection with a series of high-value burglaries which included the home of a Premier League footballer. The home of Newcastle United striker Alexander Isak in Darras Hall, Northumberland, was broken into and his car stolen earlier this month. Cash, thousands of pounds of designer clothes, and jewellery worth £1m was also taken from other homes in Sunderland and Newcastle. Det Insp Shaun Fordy, from the North East Regional Organised Crime Unit (NEROCU), said "these types of crimes will not be tolerated". Isak's home was broken into on 4 April but his car was later found abandoned three-miles away in Dissington, police said. Cash, expensive clothes and jewellery worth £1m were taken from a house on Clayton Road in Jesmond in March. Jewellery worth £100,000, designer clothes and money were also taken from a house on Woodlands Grove in Sunderland. Some of the property was later recovered by officers, NEROCU said. Four Croatian nationals, aged 23, 27, 31, and 42, who had recently travelled to the UK from Italy, were arrested on Friday in the West Midlands. They have been charged with burglary and are due to appear at Bedlington Magistrates' Court later. Det Insp Fordy said the arrests had been made by NEROCU working in partnership with Northumbria Police. “This operation demonstrates that these types of crimes will not be tolerated in our region, and the incredible lengths we will go to protect our communities," he said.

Thinking about our situation I’m surprised they’ve not asked Sam Fender to do 3 nights one weekend at SJP before this years financial cut off point.
-
Everton away. Luton away are two straight off top of my head. West Ham away also possibly and Bournemouth away. Not many though but he was right in saying he needed to contribute more away from home..
-
Hardly the masses then but fair enough. I think a lot will have a chuckle at the prospect rather than the actual reality of it happening. I’m guessing the end game is the new ground is given to a finance company similar to Coventry situation and Everton will have to rent it.
