Imagine the scenes if all clubs broke it and started minus 3 or whatever at beginning of season. Would be hilariously farcical 🤣
-
You’re talking to the guy who always felt that ABBA would get back together for one more album. 40 years later it happened 🙂

Would prefer Minteh for Pedro (Brighton) swap.

Surely the easiest way to deal with everything is limit the amount of money a club can go into “debt”. If of course their main concern is the solvency and safety of clubs. Its not a new point but you can’t get away from the irony that the likes of Man Utd, Spurs, Arsenal and Liverpool have the most debt.

Callum Wilson: offered 'incentive-based' contract extension (Ornstein)
LFEE replied to Strawberry's topic in Football
Maybe he’s leaving his family behind temporarily. The reason he didn’t move to Madrid in January was apparently his wife had just started a business up. Maybe the decision is to live apart part time 🤷🏼♂️ Smart money on Saudi but if true West Ham might give him second thoughts. -
Isak going nowhere. Stake my house on it. People need to chill. Just the product of modern day social media.
-
Isak agent making up stuff and planting in the press to secure best new contract possible. End of story.
-
Only rumour was £7m so only £30m apart 🙂

Any truth in the rumours Kane’s family is looking for him in Tenerife?
-
Ornstein reckons Everton still need a sale fwiw…

Yeah but they are under contract and on approximately £15-20kpw and £45-50kpw you’d imagine. West Ham would want £65-70m as he’s got 6-7yrs on his contract? (Didn’t he recently sign something silly like a 8yr contract?) Then to make him move he’d want tier 1 wages of us at £170kpw. £65m+5x52x£100kpw=£101m more than keeping current two players and that’s before you get the ripple effect in squad of other players then wanting a pay rise. There’s better out there for cheaper that fit our pay structure surely.
-
No they didn’t. I certainly didn’t think so either. The time to of bought Bowen was when he was waiting at Ferryhill services for our call and we changed our mind allowing him to go to West Ham. The improvement he’d give us RW wouldn’t be big enough to justify the figures now.
-
This. Not sure why he’s even discussed. Just had a second bairn not that long ago to Mr West Ham’s daughter. He ain’t moving from London now unless we did something we never do and that’s to over pay on a player plus his wages.
-
Maybe the plan is to play the dream team (Gordon 11, Foden 10, Kane 9, Bell 8, Rice 6) in the Ko’s with fresh legs 🤷🏼♂️ 😆
-
Still with us as expected…
-
He didn’t. He says it be helpful if they were supportive. The responsibility was in regards to highlighting that players and fans do look up to them what they say. Thought he quite cleverly separated the issues personally.

Don’t think Kane said much wrong. What I couldn’t understand was apparently Shearer & Lineker have apparently been constructive in their criticism (?) yet the question the journalist asked clearly stated that Lineker said they where “shit” which obviously isn’t constructive. Was it true he said that?

Seemed excessive going off other games. Maximum subs used and the VAR check for the penalty but not much else…
-
Made me laugh… 😂

I’d say a yard. He used to be lightning.

Looks slow and less energetic since last watching him when beating us in the final on first glance. He used to be like kinetic energy. Take it he never fully recovered from his ACL? Reminded me of Craig Bellamy years ago with his attitude and pace. Didn’t see much of the ball TBF. Great game. The pain and the glory. Been a very good tournament so far…

When on TV I quite enjoyed Sam Wallace as always seemed to talk quite a lot of sense with balance. Strange he’s mentioned us though like you say.
