I hear that a bit and i always argue that i think since he popped his shoulder twice he now tries to be smarter when possible in his physical duels leading him to lose out a fair bit. He was never the strongest or bravest i agree but do feel it’s forgotten what happened and probably worried how easily it could happen again.

Games are decided in moments not 90mins. Especially in the final third. I get what you mean though. Actually thought if Bruno hadn’t under hit a lot of through balls he’d of walked off HT having a great half. He made some really intelligent runs around the fullback but wasn’t found.

Said that on Sunday. Have heard since that the club (& council) were shocked at the enormity of the turnout that day. Not sure if that’s comforting or not 70K feels it makes it all worthwhile and fits the clubs no empty seats agenda. 75K feels more future proofed and where I’d be aiming for if possible on the correct site which possibly is the issue. The closer to the current SJP site possibly the smaller the space allows it to be.
  4. First one you can debate. Push looked heavier than it probably was hence the ref in a perfect spot not giving it. Not saying we didn’t get a little lucky but sometimes those ones look worse on TV then when you are stood beside the action. The second one Bruno got his foot in front and therefore he was actually fouled. Even the Brentford manager said that one wasn’t a penalty but did feel the first one was. I’ve been one of the few from the start who has been balanced regarding Bruno and how his lack of pace would never have teams paying £80-100m for his services and we are ultimately at around his level if we continue to hit European spots. Ultimately when he’s not in the team we tend not to win so there must be something good about him? PS Forgot to mention his nice 3 way interchange which set up Barnes for his trademark chance that nearly give us the lead.
  5. His block for the goal bound shot started a chain reaction in the crowd that carried us for a few minutes and lead to our winner. Made himself available even with players around him. One of the few players to choose the right pass in the final third but admittedly under hit nearly all of them. Not a great night for him but would apply to virtually the whole team tonight. Tino probably the only one who came away with a high mark then probably Tonali then Burn.
  6. We need to not lose at Villa.
  7. Didn’t look right after around 10-15mins.
  8. I agree with this. Just feel the threshold should be higher than 5 & 10. Maybe 10 & 15 🤷🏼‍♂️
  9. Correct. If you remember it was ballot only the previous year*. Fan requested the split. * Doubting myself now but pretty sure!

Well I think everyone knows that. What you’ve went on to describe though as potential fans that can be targeted and after Saturday might actually fancy going to the odd game and it might also be the case of lapsed fans who might want to return after rediscovering some pride Saturday. My point is it was the perfect demonstration of the size of people with some sort of interest or potential interest. Even if it’s kids who were only 5 years old in awe. This stadium is for the next 100 years and multiple decades. Newcastle is a hotbed of football and should always aiming to be having one of the biggest stadiums in the UK. Not one at a size that already feels modest if correct leaving absolutely no room for growth whilst over clubs are already wishing they’d went bigger when they had the chance of a new start.

  12. Not disagreeing. Just merely pointing out the fine margins in games. A different ref and us getting more fouls would’ve made a difference. Actually just holding on to 1-1 until HT could’ve been enough. Reshape re group. However wasn’t to be and they scored a second just before HT. Ran out worthy winners but everything they hit felt it went in.
  13. Funny how subbing a LB at HT can make such a big difference. Maybe Pardew was ahead of his time…
  14. Was just saying that to my mate. Basically we had the wrong type of ref when we played Bournemouth. Fair play still to Bournemouth of course their finishing was excellent on the day. The ref however suited their tactical fouling on the day. Small margins.

Another thing had I had any possible consultation on id of advised to build much bigger Whether their hands were tied (?) I don’t know but I’d suspect they’d eventually build a new one and I’d hope it be at least 50% bigger if not 100% Giant electronic Pints for PSR display which changes after every transaction £ and displays previous daily record

Would love to hear the thoughts of those thinking 65K would be the right size for the potential new ground after yesterday. Don’t underestimate the potential of this club. Price it sensibly, build it and they will come.
  17. Yep. Works every time. Make sure you label the present. That’s the chef’s kiss 😘
  18. Surely the answer is catch bus around 17:00. Follow it to the Town Moor. Then leave 19:00 after group photo and Q&A and watch the light show as walking away. 2hrs in total and you’d probably be able to have a sly drink the first 1hr or more on the journey to the entrance.

  21. Your last word probably highlighted one of the issues if alcohol was allowed. That and the chucking of it in the air as well as the ground. Sadly too many scruffy people these days.
