This chat and the stuff that Dave keeps spouting (onto a lower priced striker, option Z, etc.) - would some people be happier if we didn't try and aim for the likes of Gaimero and just went straight for a league 1 striker who'd be desperate to come here? Erm... what? Was just saying that after going for Gameiro and been linked with Sturridge it's a bit of a let down, which it is.

Gameiro to Long is a bit of a fucking let down like I wouldn't be unhappy with Long though, but it's another striker on our books who is either unproven in a top league (Best), or just shit (Ameobi, Lovenkrands).

The mackems are basicaly relying on Cabaye been flop in the Premiership (unlikely due to the kind of player he is), and the same with Ben Arfa (again unlikely due to what we have actualy seen of him). Wickham and that Korean kid however, who also have not ever played in the Premiership, are apparently outstanding signings. Bestest ever in the worlds.

O'Shea is a good signing imo, albeit a bit old for a long contract. He's the only one of there signings that would be a certain starter in out squad I think. The rest are good to average players who have improved there SQUAD (and would impove ours), which desperately needed improving due to all of there loan signings and Bent f***ing off. They've somehow managed to create some sort of fantasy though, and will use anything they can to live it out (a bit like the Gay Fish episode of South Park where Cartman deludes himself into thinking he made up a joke he hadn't). All of these storries about Mags at Work walking about in complere misery are just ways of extending said fantasy.

They've signed NOBODY of genuine quality, absolutely no-one. Wickham may become quality in a few years time, but by then he'll be off anyway. The rest are distinctly average footballers. I would love to see what goes on in the heads.
