Why would Ashley be working with Keegan? He doesn't own Beardsley, Ginola, Shearer and co -

Would please us because it would be nice to see a game betwean 2 sets of legends? -
Just the same as us talking about Dabizas, O'Brien or Shola recently.

The article has a very slight point, but in the main it's just sensationalist bullshit. I would prefer that we we're as willing to spend money this summer as they apparently appear to be, just not on any old shite. "I am not talking about the quality of players both signed." "But I’m not talking about the quality of signings as such" That pretty much sums up why we couldn't give a shit how much they are spending.

Recon we could get loads of proper fancy wallpaper with that money.

Coincided with Villa accepting bid for Downing. Convenient. I'm talking about last January, when we had a final hour bid rejected. I don't see how people can come to the conclusion that no bid was made, when all the evidence suggests there was.
-
Didn't Sky Sports News say that Whelan confirmed on the phone that we had made a bid? I doubt Whelan would have done so if we hadn't.

Suppose to us it's a bit of an obvios article, but many neutrals would probably laugh at the suggestion of Barton signing for one of the top clubs. He probably won't, but he certainly has the ability for it (which is what he's getting at).

Wish he'd stop saying helmet like

He holidayed in the USA man! When he wasn't even supposed to be there!!! Can you not see how serious this is? He could have killed someone ffs.

Premier League - Would a closed league with no relegation be positive..

I'd love to see it. -
Thats fucking silly that like, surely exeptions could be let through on the basis that they know who they are and they have to go there for work. He's hardly going to shoe bomb the fucking plane is he? We should do the same back, decline Michael Phelps next year the cunt. "What? You were convicted of drink driving and have be known to smoke cannabis? Go home, sir."

Don't think i've been told to jog on in so many differant ways before, that was almost enlightening.

But thats the thing, people DO want to read twitter rumours, it's just tedious seiving through the mounds of s**** in this thread to get to the actual rumours that may contain some credibility. When I say credibility I mean rumours that are actual from an (apparantly) credible source, journalists, footballers, pundits, other sports persons etc. Not just some random kid with 20 followers trying to seek attention, or worse, a known bullshitter. C**rris07 a know lier so it's pointless sharing his lies in the Football section of this forum, stick it in the "Some Vaguely Amusing Internet Jocularity" if people are that desperate to 'laugh at how wrong he is', because what he says has nowt to do with football. Don't mean to sound like some thread nazi, but the last few pages just prove how much this is ruining what could be a half decent thread.

We clearly were not better than 12th, otherwise we wouldn't have finished 12th.

UV or Pip? I'd be more inclined to take Pips but neither are entirely dependent on the activity of NUFC so it's f***ing nonsense - last year was widely recognised as an anomalous year for a lot of teams and based on that, if we stick as we are in the market, i reckon we'll end up doing worse despite having some better players on the books I'd agree with this to an extent, however I think Cabaye & Ben Arfa (like Tiote last year) will completely change us for the better. I expect us to be a lot more fluid this year if we have the striker(s) on the pitch up to the job.

PM's man, PM's.

The more I look at the Sunderland midfield the more i'm disgusted by it, it's absolutely appauling. There defence is average as hell too. They have 1 good striker (same as us), with Sess there 'Ben Arfa'. f*** it, they call me delusional all they want, we'll p*ss all over them come derby day. Complete dog s***. EDIT: For the record I expect us to finish around the same place, with them boring there way to a few draws and 1 goal victories, like last year. There complete lack of flair, and anything even remotely resemling technique in midfield is shocking, genuinly one of the most drab looking sides in the league. EDIT AGAIN: Fuck it, we've got more flair and technique in defence than there entire squad combined. They've got Sessegnon, and erm... Gyan... I suppose... When he plays for Ghana. Reet, i've calmed down now.

Was this the one who was apparently just another Routledge? (according to people on here)

The signings we've made so far I think we would have made withought the Carroll sale tbh. I don't blame them for spinning it mind, but I realy don't think the Carroll sale has helped us at all in terms of transfers. We're clearly bargain hunting.
