  1. Jonas is definatly a 'left midfielder' as opposed to a 'winger' like (FIFA terms).

  3. Aye, nowerdays players have much more 'power', and respect has to be earned as a manager (even by someone like Shearer). He cannot just walk into a job and just 'lay down the law', he has to be able to create a bond with the players and ultimately earn there respect first. His dealing with Barton seemed pretty shit tbh (although we don't know exactly what happened).
  4. Cardiff fans seem pretty split, the adventurous half would like to give him a craic, realising that although he is inexperienced he would bring a LOT to the club in terms of PR especially. The other half want Malky f***ing Mackay
  5. Even so, I'd be pleased if we could buy another striker as well. Without a doubt, I havn't seen him play tbh (that I know of), but after been linked with Gameiro for so long i'm feeling a tad llet down.
  6. You've seen Erding play, right? If we are to sign him and Ba - I can't see us playing a 4-3-3. Unless Erding is to go wide-right? Was he playing wide right when you described him as "Fantastic" or "Average"? Have never described him as 'fantastic'. He's a good player, would rather us go for someone a bit more direct. Sorry, it was "great" Direct? I agree if he IS to be actualy playing on the wing (i'd prefer the Zog, obviosly).
  7. From what i've seen of Ba and heard of Erdinc i'm sort of hoping we'd just go Erdinc up top by himself (providing we bring these 2 in with no-one better). He seems powerful enough to handle it, and he has the pace and work rate, apparently. Ben Arfa and/or hopefully N'Zogbia (or similar) suporting him.

  9. "Gameiro" ... "the big striker" Eh?
  10. Nolan isn't a "cracking" player either though. Gardner, imo, would be an improvement on the side (purely from a playing perspective), he isn't a clinical as Nolan but he still had a pretty class goal record last year.
  11. Would be happy to see Smith fuck off like, but not sure who i'd rather have out of Nolan and Gardner. Probably Gardner as a player, but theres the whole leadership bollocks we'd lose etc etc.
  12. Would be 4th choice (atleast) CM, 2nd choice (atleast) RM, which leaves RB the only position I could realistically see him holding down (but I doubt he'd be too happy about it tbh). He would be a bit part player at best imo, and I realy cannot see us shelling out more than a couple of million. Strikes me as an older Gosling tbh.
  13. Trying to decypher what that means, no luck as of yet though.
  14. Would stay well away from Gardner if the reported price of £5m is correct like. Bullshit story anyway, unless we we're thinking of bringing him in to play at RB, which I very much doubt.
  15. Why you would want to bring your kids up supporting Man U, Liverpool etc is beyond me, unless you are actualy from there (in which case your son actualy has a chance in life with "my family is from there"). Surely your own experiences would ensure you do everything possible to prevent such an event occurring. I'm probably not the only one who instantly loses all respect for someone in the pub when it's reveiled they support one of those teams. Just cannot take them seriously.
  16. Italian as fuck that, Tiote & Cabaye is sexy, add another defensive midfielder in there and it's just getting daft.
