  1. I'd say WLDWD, so 8. Although we could pick up more from Stoke and Wet Spam if there still both lingering about the relegation zone
  2. Just checked it out on Youtube, 130mph! Thats bloody insane
  3. "God" I believe is his official title.
  4. http://thefootballknowledge.blogspot.com/2008/12/10-fastest-shot-ever-in-football.html
  5. 90mph? Probably more like 60-70 to be honest, around about the 90 mark and it would probably be the fastest shot ever recorded
  6. Jesus wept... What about when Arfa played Carroll in then but he was beaten to the ball by the defender when he probably shouldn't have been? Did he "do a Carroll"? Pretty much garentee that if it was Nolan in the same posision we would have about 5 extra pages to this thread moaning on about how ugly, fat and imobile he is.
  7. check the everton forums, and who said anything about a rivalry with Villa
  8. 40-60 posession in the first half says we did a lot more than just 'stifle Everton'. It was one of the most dominant 45 minutes your likely to see from an away team against an apparantly "far superior" side this season. I'm happy for the fans of Everton & Villa et all to keep on considering us a Championship fodder, makes the 3 points all the more sweater.
  9. He needs to go out on loan, it's as simple as that. I agree with you that he probably won't, but that doesn't change the fact that he needs it. If he gets a run of games in our team and does well then fantastic, but this is Newcastle. There will come a point where there's a mixup or he makes a mistake/error from inexperience which costs us and those unforgiving bastards in the crowd will put the blame squarely on him - probably because he's a young, foreign keeper. It'll be "Harper wouldn't have done that", "Why's Harper on the bench, he's a better keeper" etc. And what if he goes on loan and makes a mistake for the club he's on loan to?
  10. Arfa is pretty much on another level to any other in a Newcastle shirt to be honest, great goals aswell
  11. can hardly blame the lass though, charging thick footballer extortionate money for sex. Sounds like a decent buisness plan to be honest.
  12. http://www.readytogo.net/smb/showthread.php?t=524626 Oh my god, first of all he goes on to claim Carroll is a "terrible striker", and then tries to prove his point by picking apart the career statistics of A 20 YEAR OLD!
  13. Seems like half of them have copped on to how patheticaly obbsessed they look
  14. Yeah, just because the bloke can drible and has adequate ball controll doesn't make him an immence playmaker. Jonas is only good when he's moving forwards with the ball at his feet. He's far to gangly and hasn;t got the movement, vision or tachtical know how to even be considered playing behind Carroll, never mind the fact he can't shoot.
  15. Yeah a Keegan interview would be good, I was suprised with how open Shearer was last night, he never dodged a single question and answered everyone fully which was nice to see. I would expect the same, if not probably more from Keegan.
  16. So what exactly did Shearer mean by "I thought I had the job"? "I've just moved to Florida", "I'm making mesel some egg and chips when I get hyem", "I love to wax me legs whilst listening to some Coldplay"?
  17. Not only is this pretty disrespectful to Blackburn, but he's also just pretty much made up his own abbilities as a football manager. Cannot see Ronaldo, Kaka or Ozil been too pleased with the ball been shunted over there heads for 90 minutes.
  18. It quite clearly didn't happen like
  19. Anyway i've just been through Sunderland, had a shit on the airports runway and rushed off to piss up there catherdral doors.
  20. Aye we should have a big bang day or summat, or a Charles Darwin day. I'd sign like.
  21. Yeah I mean he did say pretty much "This is what happened..."
  22. Tal Ben Haim missing it aswell, great news for Wham. Probably paid leave too. People involved in professional football live on a different planet to us. Why not? It's one of the most important days in the Jewish year. It's like a Christian taking off for Easter or Christmas. Because he's managing a football club which is currently in turmoil. It's not like he's taking a day off training either, he's missing a vital game which any manager worth his salt would do everything in there power to win. Christmas is differant as it's a bank holiday.
  23. Would be very suprised if we get so much as a point here to be honest. Start HBA and hope he has a blinder.
  24. Only a mackum would boast on the net about having a piss up a wall. Thick scruffy bastards the lot of em
  25. Drogba has technicaly had 2 very good seasons in the Premership, and has played in a side that have won the league 3 times. He still hasn't hit the fabled 30+ goals mark, nevermind on 3 occasions. (2 of those we're in the 42 game seasons but he managed 34 in one of those). Drogbas goals to games ratio last season (his best ever) was phenominal, but Shearer has hit a similar g/g about 3-4 times, and scoring over 1 goal every other game 5 times, only just missing the mark on another 5 occasions. Drogba record for Chelsea, 170 games - 88 goals Shearer record for Blackburn, 138 games - 112 goals (is there a better record in Premiership history?) From a goalscoring point of view atleast, Shearer was streets ahead. Of course ther is more to both of there games though.
