I think people are sleeping on Ekitike like. I get young players are a risk, especially from abroad, but the timing of his runs looks impeccable and he looks calm as fuck in front of goal.

His ball retention is still bad tbf, although I don't think it's quite as bad as the stats suggest. It's weird because he deffinitely has the quality to carry the ball forwards like Rice, but something doesn't quite click so he's nowhere near as consistent doing it and I'm not even sure what it is He's very erratic, for the good and the bad that it brings.

If we brought Eriksen in it would be as a 6 you would imagine. Paqueta would be an 8 or pushed further forwards. We could (should) go for both if we can imo.

Not being pissed about by clubs and not paying daft wages yet is absolutely the right way to go like. We'll be much stronger next season than we were last regardless of whether we land our first choice targets.

Surely people dealing with millions of pounds don't make forecasts like "we'll spend between 80 & 100 million" anyway? I would imagine it would either be 80 or 100, or a number somewhere in between as the ideal upper limit - which they would have arrived at using an actual calculation?
