  1. you should write them a letter imo This is the kind of encouragement I was looking for like, cheers. Writing it now.
  2. I do like Football 365 like, but they need to be pulled up on a few things to stop them from essentially just parodying themselves. I've read a few things in the past few months where they've either just been massively hypocritical or are just flat out taking things out of context, I assume to fill a quota.
  3. http://www.football365.com/news/f365s-early-winner-harry-kane-the-worlds-best-striker They'll no doubt be ripping the PFM apart for saying the same thing in a couple of day like
  4. And with that sentence spoken proudly, Triggs can finally feel happiness.
  5. It's always easy to forget how young he is like given he's been known for nearly a decade. The major thing with Lukaku though is that he's more likely to move abroad than Kane is.
  6. No. I really don't. Your memory must be pretty bad then as it only happened last week.
  7. I think realistically you can give him more than 7-8 seasons mind. We don't know how he will age but him playing until he's 35 is definitely possible. 10-11 seasons after this one. Doubt he'll be hitting 20 a season by that point (although Ibra makes it seem possible) but he won't need to if he carries on as he is for the next 5-6 year.
  8. Shearer's record isn't an insane figure anymore like. We're into the era of a goal a game strikers now and Kane could average 18 goals a season from now until 2027 and beat the record. Aye, 20 goals a season sounds big but he's hitting over that now. He got 29 last year. Every time he does that he can afford a season where he only hits 11, or 15, or whatever. I actually think it's statistically likely he breaks it if he stays majorly injury free and doesn't move abroad.
  9. Kane could do it like, he's only 24 and Shearer's record is reduced as his 23 goals before the change to the Premiership aren't counted. I think given their respected ages Kane has a massive head start and there's no signs of him slowing down.
  10. I don't think that's fair like, we can safely say Shearer is one of the greatest English strikers ever, perhaps the greatest, without him doing it against Madrid. Of course it's fair, it's the tournament which the greats are judged on and what places them above the rest. It's why Mbappe was getting insane hype, because he was toying with the best teams around. It's not even about Madrid, Spurs went out in the Group stage last year. Getting to the KO stages would be a start. I read Triggs post wrong tbh. For some reason read it as him putting massive emphasis on this one game which obviously he never did at all

  12. It's pretty funny like as the link to this forum that used to be on my homepage took me to a page in an old Other Games thread where he was being absolutely slaughtered for being absolutely shite I think even Leffe didn't rate him too much. I know he was young but he seemed to pretty much turn world class overnight.
  13. Remember when Jamie Redknapp was being called a racist for having the gall to suggest Harry Kane was the most complete striker in the league? Great times.
  14. I don't see why that's contentious like, he can scrub up well Good head of hair on the lad. height=300http://www.footballtop.com/sites/default/files/styles/player_full/public/photos/players/0103661004413200.jpg?itok=S1DOOfXE[/img] height=300https://platform-static-files.s3.amazonaws.com/premierleague/photos/players/250x250/p11467.png[/img] height=300http://www.thefootballsocial.co.uk/images/players/Sunderland/Billy%20Jones.jpg[/img]
  15. Billy Jones is actually a good looking lad to be fair to him
  16. Love a radge old woman kicking off about the toon.
  17. Aye I noticed that. I can appreciate the odd political reference but wish he'd stick to the footy like.
  18. I think the idea is that if the Premiership has a few teams on the level of Barca, Real, Bayern & PSG then the Premiership becomes even more lucrative. He's probably right. Just a shame nobody else in the country could give a fuck about it.
  19. West Brom and Palace still play their part in the top sides pulling in so much though, like Yorkie was getting onto, without the system they don't get that TV deal. So although West Brom and Palace don't get on the tele as much they're still integral. Giving teams even more money for league places isn't a bad idea in theory (it's still stacked as it is) but it's clearly unfair when there's already a massive divide. If the 'top 6' and West Ham (), Everton and Leicester () want this then maybe it should be just amongst themselves, winner takes all. The rest of the league can split the cash up equally but whoever finishes highest amongst that lot becomes the supa king of the leeeeg and the rest get fuck all.
