Baffled by the smash 'n grab talk. Thought it was an even game, Tottenham had a couple of heavy spells camped in our half but we kept then out of danger and created a lot on the break.

The annoying thing is that even if Howe's list is small, the list of players we could purchase for PSR purposes (Minteh) isn't. Buying players, loaning them out and then selling them on for a profit is the best way to increase you transfer pot, and a window where we didn't sign anyone would have been the perfect time to take advantage of it.

We need to strengthen CB, GK & RW with top quality. With atleast £70m to spend it's madness to think we couldn't have landed a 'purple' for at least one of them. Trafford might turn out good but an elite keeper would transform us just as much as a CB. Unless we strike a deal for Guehi today we've fucked up. I don't want people to be getting sacked or out but it's hard to be positive about the window. I still think we can push for top 4 rven with our current squad, but it would be a lot simpler with another addition.

Like it's one thing missing out on a player, another entirely being strung along the entire window for 1 target and still missing out. We probably just need to give them the £75-80m they want and accept Parish just has the bigger dick.
