Borussia Dortmund 2-0 Newcastle United (07/11/23)

Howe has defied larger odds than winning in Paris Going into the last game against Milan needing to get a result will be great craic. -
Because he'd already pulled him back though. Hall was never winning that battle without the tangle.
-
Hall pulls him back first to start the tussle, he'd lost the race. The Longstaff challenge was a blatant yellow, aye. Bad call but on reflection of the whole game I don't think there was any bias. I never felt jipped by many of the on field calls and if anything we got slightly more of the 50/50s.
-
I think it was a yellow tbh, quite soft for a first offence before the 10th minute but it was a dangerous attack and Hall pulling that big ugly fucker back stopped it. The rest of the game was honestly near enough how I would want a game to be officiated. Dortmund were clever with their fouls but I don't think they ever overstepped the mark.

That's the spirit!

Makes no sense at all If Milan win qualification is still in our hands. Draw is great too (or potentially better?)
-
We want PSG to lose or draw because we're still in the competition ffs

Borussia Dortmund 2-0 Newcastle United (07/11/23)

It's annoying as both games have been decided by fine margins (crossbar & Jow missing a sitter), but I think they've had our number in both games tbh. Tiredness and injuries obviously a massive factor, but from the players on the pitch they were first to everything today. -
I've thought about it far more than I should tbh, with my ultimate solution being a VAR hub that is responsible for the top leagues but I'll not bore everyone with all of my autistic nonsense atm One thing that has been said since VAR's inception though, is that VAR would be much better without the ability to forensically investigate everything. Give them two views (45° 'broadcast' view from either side of the pitch), no zooming in past a certain point and no slowing down or pausing, and it can only be looked at 4 times. Or whatever restrictions are deemed to be fair. Havertz' challenge is just about acceptable as an 'orange card' in real time, slowing it down from one angle though it's an objective red. VAR missed it though as they never used the tools they're expected to use properly, which realistically they cannot do all of the time with pressure to restart play.

Lovely coffee! Where's the oxo cube and jar of horseraddish though? -
Vicario looked ridiculously good.
-
Honestly the 2nd half is worth a full watch for anyone who missed it. I don't think there's ever been a game like it. Not sure of Ange struggles to change things during a game, or if he just thought there was nothing to lose and he'd test something out. Chelsea are that shit it almost worked @leffe186 any input?
-
Jackson probably the only player in the history of the sport to score a hattrick and still be one of the worst players on the pitch.

So we've probably found Ange's weakness They could have been down to 4 outfield players and they still would have been sat on that line. -
The lack of shame on Jackson's face is admirable.
-
It's just really good craic from Ange like.
-
This is genuinely the best game I've ever seen.
-
Do Chelsea have a single player who can play a through ball? I feel like we would be 15-1 up here.
-
Well done Nicolas, there's only 9.
-
Ange is a fucking moron like
-
If Vicario's concussed they're fucked like.
-
Tottenham's keeper would be perfect for us like.
-
This is just moronic from Tottenham
-
Why are Spurs playing with such an insane high line, down to 9 men, against THAT front 3
