Excluding Liverpool, who were down to 10 (and eventually 9) and had a goal chalked off due to a technical error, Tottenham have dropped points in their 2 hardest games (Brentford and Arsenal away), getting maximum points from the rest is a great achievement, but it's very likely they start to drop points when they're on the road to Palace, Forrest and Wolves rather than Luton, Burnley & Bournemouth.

The Europeometer™ (2024/25) - NUFC Qualify for Champions League

You can remove 5 goals from that game and we're still joint 3rd. Remove everyone's biggest win and we have the 2nd best goal difference, 1 behind Man City and Liverpool. -

Do Villa realistically play with a higher line than any other attacking side when trying to pin the opposition in? -

Stats stats etc, but our expected points total is 19, joint top with Man City (who's expected points is also 19). It can sometimes feel like we're lacking in areas, but we consistently create chances while giving very little at the other end. More so than any other side in the leage, which although not the full story, it's not worthless info either. Our highest xA was Villa, who had an xG of 1.49. We've never had a game so far this season where we've been expected to concede more than 1. We've been expected to score 2 or more in 7 games. -
STM was carted off ages ago man. The fun police are here for us now though so we'll have to wind it up. You're alright Ronson, it's perfectly understandable that you're pissed off, I just think it's obvious most people are ultimately on your side here

Nah I find overt racism arousing.

I used to like MrRaspberryJam until he got shot of the Paddington Bear avatar, it added an undeniable charm to his posts. Hated him ever since.

You're threatening to leave the forum if another poster isn't banned forever. Like howay man Silly post from STM, however there is a conflation of SA as a whole and 'pure evil', in the media and at times on here. Like 80 has said I'm not surprised when people try to fit in.

You're being a total fanny. The mods will sort STM out, his comment was ridiculous.

I'd go with the tried and true "I was hacked" defence.

Ronson333 will accept nothing less than complete excommunication. His terms are clear, his justice is known.

Absolutely unrepentant what they were doing to his barnet in Merseyide like. I've said it before, but someone need to pass the word for him to grow out his beard and bash the odd sunbed. Take inspiration from Messi.

In STM's defence, and this isn't against those who've called him out here, the attitude towards Saudi Arabia is confusing at best on here Edit: Also see Russia/Russians

Fuck sake

Obefemi Watkins with that backlift.

It's happened all season across the league hasn't it? Hopefully they've just swept it under the rug and advised refs not to enforce it after realising how pointless it is.

To add, I think TheBrownBottle is going a bit OTT regarding betting on your own team, I'm not trying to claim there's absolutely no chance a game could ever be effected by a player doing it. Also Tonali should absolutely be banned, and probably for 12 month or more.
-
I get what your saying, but it's hard to imagine at the highest level players are betting so much on their own teams to win, and to such an extent, that it is effecting their performances in such positions. Players can have win bonuses inserted into their contracts too, which would theoretically have a similar effect with players defying orders to earn a few more quid, but in general teams seeing a draw stick to it. I do agree though, theoretically there could be a tangible effect, I just think it's a far way off effecting the integrity of the game. The integrity of the game is naturally effected by being able to bet on it though, as it's just so easy to manipulate certain markets.
-
How? I'm really struggling to see how the integrity of the sport is damaged by a player betting on his own team to win over any other bet. I honestly think it's about the least corrupt thing he could do It doesn't indicate match fixing or fraud in any realistic way. You have to assume he did more (which he may have done). I imagine fraudulent bets are placed with alarming regularity, they're too easy not to. A player can realistically take a yellow card in any game they please and it's hard to believe players, especially in lower leagues, aren't tempted to essentially print money. Given Fagioli, Tonali and Zaniolo are apparently a part of some betting ring, it's feasible they could have been scheming to bet fix, "we'll all take a yellow today?". However Fagioli is in 3m debt, which points to it being a genuine case of addiction.

Wouldn't he have been like 10?

I wonder if Steve Coogan will play him in the upcoming BBC drama.
