Pardew deserves credit for his dour rigid football stifling sides tbf, it was never going to last forever and we had our fair share of luck but ultimately it was him doing things his way that got us 5th. The first dozen games or so especially before Taylor's injury we were a difficult team to beat. Not that there isn't a succession of other managers who couldn't have done the same job, if not better, with that squad considering Chelsea and Liverpool both had awful seasons.

He LITERALLY cannot win. A poor trait for a football manager tbh.

Which option would you prefer him or any future manager to take when those above put him in that position? I'm not someone that blames Keegan in any way whatsoever for showing some backbone and walking out on the owner, even though it might have been better for the club if he'd just accepted what was going on and got on with it. Pardew came in knowing he had to tow the line, so I'd be less inclined to have any time for him if he found his spine all of a sudden. I would prefer he walked as I'm sick of his shit and, more importantly, we look fucking rubbish on a football pitch. We may still be rubbish on a football pitch when a new manager comes in, and I may well be equally as sick of his shit after a while too. At this point I honestly don't care anymore. -
It was the "Helloooo, this is called football" that did it like.

Fair play on composing the worst post in this thread thus far, SLK. Considering the competition you've had that was some doing.

Your first contribution was loaded with sarcasm about Pardew having the piss taken out of him by his employers, making him ignoble for not speaking out...or going further. Resigning? There was nothing constructive there about what he should actually do. So feel free to put me right on that score. My only worry is Newcastle United, and I'm still confused by the disconnect in the views of some fans which suggests people want a new manager to come in under Ashley, a man of integrity, not beholden to Ashley, a man to to tell it like it is and even walk out if their pride is too hurt. Because that man wouldn't last half a season. I am happy to have an arse licking bell end do the job. I would like the arse licking bell end to be a better tactician, but that's a difficult balance to find. We clearly have differing views about what is best for Newcastle United. You think we should sit with the devil we know, no further discussion needed. I'm open to change and the risks it may bring. Anyway you've sort of missed the point of my post yet again, like, I wasn't discussing what was best for Newcastle, I was suggesting that Pardew has more options than just sitting quiet whilst he has his position continually undermined, which he has. -

Awful. He's always quick to agree with whatever he's told to so why have sympathy? What should he do? Join an internet forum and troll people. Obviously. So basically you haven't got an answer to what he should do, probably other than the same old 'he should just resign'. It's his boss, local press have been banned and Pardew can't do a single thing about it, totally out of his hands. Nah mate you're right, he should sit there, say nothing in reprobate, and just continue to do the job he's clearly not qualified to do whilst simultaneously having the piss taken out of him by his employers. It's certainly the most noble thing to do. Seems strange to argue for a manager to be replaced, but also that no manager with a spine should put up with the deal they would get at Newcastle. Are you saying Newcastle would be better off managerless? What the fuck are you talking about, man? Learn to read and actually understand whatever post you're replying to, and the vibe of the thread in general, because this is getting fucking boring now like. Just contrarian bollocks every fucking day. I said Alan Pardew shouldn't just sit there and say nothing, he has other options and he would take them if he wasn't such a slimy lick arse. I've never once said that NUFC would be better managerless, unless me subconscious stuck a bit of white text in that I'm not aware of. I have no idea how we'd cope without Pardew in charge, that is completely irrelevant to what I've said or my feeling towards him as a manager. If he does leave though it's one more bit of hastle that Mike probably could do without, especially if he has the balls to come out and actually say something. Fuck it though, lets just meander along with the cunt so you play about with your stats telling people why they should be fucking pleased to have the spineless tosser. You don't seem to have thought your argument through to it's logical conclusion on any level. What argument do you think I'm making here? -

Knowing our luck he'd survive the cunt.

Does the post start to make sense after this sentence?
-
By "personal interest" I'm guessing you mean Pardew's family randomly moving to Argentina?
-
 ahh that's fucking class
-
He didn't offer himself the captaincy. He accepted that and signed a 5 year deal before his family fucked off to Argentina, I'm guessing his mindset changed a little bit after that like. I don't like it but I'm not going to go too overboard about it. No matter who has the armband in our side it'll mean very little imo, we haven't got a proper captain.
-
I think people are getting too caught up on this captain thing like.
-
Isn't his wife and/or son still in Argentina? EDIT: ^ aye Anyway we'll certainly miss his half time team talks and mid-game morale-boosting war cries.
-
"1-9" You simply cannot win with these people.

Saw Neesy as the poster and knew exactly what the comment was. I don't necessarily disagree like.

They might be hitting a pressure point tbf.
-
Jonas does what Suarez did every time he's on the pitch. Just on the half way line.
-
Cannot believe how good that goal was, man. Just perfect.
