  1. So he should never be invited back onto MOTD because he made an honest tweet with "Bradford" and "fire" in the same sentence? Are we not getting a bit RAWKy here?
  2. So we're not allowed to used a well known and commonly used phrase now to describe Bradford's form because their ground went up in the 80s?

And there it is. Of course we can improve at centre back if we're willing, man, we need to find an upgrade on Mike Williamson. If we can't find a top European player for £5m then then we won't though, we'll just go another year wanting.

No outgoings? Yes. This is the problem though, we're becoming "satisfied" with an understrength squad because we've pretty much been beaten into submission by Mike and his frugality, or whatever the fuck it is. We have a good starting XI, but once Ben Arfa gets a niggle we're playing strikers or central midfielders on the wing, an injury to the already appalling Williamson and Perch is playing at centre back, or left back if Santon is out, or maybe we'll just plonk Jonas in there, who knows? Outside of our well stocked central midfield the options in reserve are either too inexperienced or utility men.

Really we need 2 forwards and a centre back at the very minimum. We have to be the most awkward side in the league once a couple of players are out.
  6. Do you think for a minute Colo and Cisse were actually injured? I don't know, and neither do you. I don't quite think resting 2 players is throwing away the cup though even if they were. I can understand the thought process of not wanting to play a full strength side (again we pretty much put out what we could) but I still don't think he sent them out with the intention of getting beat and extending our shit run of form. Obviously I don't believe he sent them out to lose, that would be ridiculous. But considering the lack of impetus and urgency even from such a youthful side surely happy to get a chance, I would be stunned if the overriding instruction wasn't just to avoid injury. Pardew ignoring the fans at the full time whistle was the confirmation for me, he couldn't bear to face them IMO. Well he did admit to his game plan being "wait until 70 minutes and then Marv will come on and win the game" so there's probably something in that. Sadly I'm struggling to hold it against him too much, we're in deep shit in the league and need every advantage we can get. We've already seen with the Europa League how things go to shit with only a few days between matches. It probably shouldn't be the case, but apparently it is. If we were due to play Man Utd, Man City and Chelsea then perhaps he wouldn't have rested Colo/Cisse/Marv. In reality our games are far too important. I don't disagree either tbh, I just took the initial "forfeit the cup" a bit too literally. I do hope we can build up a safe-ish gap between us and the drop zone in time for us to really give the Europa a crack though, it's all we have to look forward to. Pardew isn't fully to blame either, as much as I don't think he's the right man for the job our squad depth is pitiful and once again it's showing.
  7. I think we should bring in a manager with clear potential and a good footballing philosophy and stick with him.

  11. How did he forfeit the cup? He fielded arguably the strongest side he could and sent them out to play the style of football we've played most of the season. Brighton, like every other team we've played away from home this season, were just better.
  12. He struck one in off Cisse's arse.

It doesn't even deserve that. I hate sounding like a fucking killjoy, but it's so pointless to read and just serves to fuel their useless drivel.

I personally will not believe anything unless it appears on Chrono Foot, so thanks.
  15. His contract runs out in the summer so we'll get nothing for him really, I'd much prefer him on the bench in case (god forbid) Debuchy dies.
  16. I'm not saying Gosling won't come good, like, I hope he does, he just hasn't shown any quality at all whilst he's been here (baring 1 back heel in pre-season). He looks to have the worst peripheral vision I've ever seen.
  17. He hasn't looked like a remotely competent box-to-box midfielder in his time here though, I'm sure the Everton lot poured water on his hype back when he was playing for them too. Jonas "does a job that nobody else in the team can do" but he's become so utterly useless at it that we're better off just not having his job in the side.
  18. Ronaldo just casually making shit up in the hope it sticks

  20. I think statements like this are utterly pointless. Well, that's my dose of unnecessary hostility sorted It comes to us all. It might have been supreme irony to be fair. Say that to my face and not on-line and see what happens. get in
  21. I doubt Hatem would willingly pretend he was injured.
  22. Danny Simpson ‏@SimmoLUFC_ @CHAOSCREW_NCFC you lot look like youv got some top lads! Keep up the good work yeh! #ChaosCrew #Respect Surely grounds to sack him?
