I wish I could afford beans. Remember the last time I joined in one of these anyway, was for Wolves/Villa to have more than 3 cards or something when Wolves were trying to kill people every week. There was 1 card in that match. Didn't some dafty lose £3k on that?  I need to find that thread/page -

I don't believe things like Alcohol and betting organisations should be allowed to advertise, especially on Premiership club shirts. Fair enough kids shirts can't have those sponsors on but it doesn't really help when it's on pictures of their favourite players, on TV all the time etc. You might as well just never let your kids out if that's your attitude. Like I give a fuck about Brown Ale when I was 7, I didn't even know what it was. To be honest it's not really children who I think this effects the most. I was just using how pointless it is that they ban those adverts on Chidrens shirts. If you look back at clubs who have had advertisement like that through the years then 9/10 it's clubs based in areas with high levels of alcoholism and gambling addictions. Sunderland - Tombola Hull - betting company Stoke - Bet 365 (next season) Blackpool - Wonga (the worst of the worst as they take advantage of the poor specifically) Wigan - betting company Liverpool - alcohol Everton - alcohol (not as serious as the alcoholic firm they were sponsored by didn't have their stuff on sale in the UK) You have some mad political veiws you like Stifler. Alcohol/Betting Site sponosorships on the front of football shirts isn't going to drive people to beer & a gambling adiction. It may make people think "Hmmm, I might give that beer a try instead of the usual Carling" or "Hmmm, I may try that betting company out on the weekend, i'm getting a bit sick of PaddyPower" it's not going to have people thinking "Well, I was going to stay in today, but after seeing that Brown Ale logo on my sons footy strip i'm going to grab me sell a crate of mad dog and slap the wife about". As a whole, we as a race just aren't that fucking mental.

Mackems seem obbesessed with trying to prove than anyone who says anything that they don't like is either a MAG KERNT or some Man Utd supporting glory hunter from the USA or China. "What? Lorrente won't sign for Sunderland? You clearly have never been to a football game in your life!"

Starting price. Just means you will get the odds from the the starts of the race, as opposed to the odds at the time of the bet. -
The link up play between Ba, Cisse and HBA against West Brom was nothing short of sublime, no doubt at all he can effectively play there but it has to be in a fluid setup.
-
I think keeping him happy was due to the fragility of his contract situation though (if indeed Pardew was just playing him to keep him happy), if we get into the new season with him tied down on a different contract then the ball is in Pardew's court. I think him and the rest of our players would see it differently next season anyway depending on how we do, if we're up there fighting for a Champions League place again, aswel as doing well in Europe and the cups i'm pretty sure they would be happy with the rotation. EDIT: In short, Pardew will not go into next season with a player he feels he HAS to play.
-
We look better playing 4-3-3 at the moment, but it's not exactly going to be the only formation we'll play next year, and despite what we've shown this year you can actually play good effective football in a 4-4-2. Being happy to go into the season with 1 striker of any real quality is just absurd.
-
Aye, that's exactly what you got slated for His time has peaked here. Poor footballer. Needs to go!

Ah right, that probably could have done with a quote, I thought it was something intended for the Daft confessions thread EDIT: A series of post removals and edits

Are yee pissed, Stifler?

Ignoring any decisions that went against us, what decisions this season have undoubtedly gained us points? Wolves - 2 Man U - 1
-
They've either got no shame at all, or they genuinely don't realise just how cuntish, bitter, and retarded they look.
-
So according to that daft table the entire "big 6" were robbed of points this season Fuck off man, Man Utd 6 points worse off
-
"Parboo" As I said a few pages back, they are really fucking dour.

Fair fucking play -
I don't really understand the Lambert and Rodgers BEST MANAGERS THIS SEASON shouts like, they finished 12th and 11th respectively ffs. The same positions as us and West Brom in our first season back last year. Birmingham finished 9th the year before, the year before that Stoke finished 12th. It's not uncommon that a manager will guide a newly promoted club to a respectable league position.
